The books in the bible were written by different people. Actually some words of the bible were miss translated. Many words in the Hebrew language meant several things and it was interpreted by the men who did the translations on how they perceived it. The more something is mentioned in the bible the more important it is. Sometimes there are 3 verses following one another saying the same thing because it is so important.

First of all, no one said the bible was perfect. Secondly, the bible was not all written by the same person. Many people were responsible for writing the bible, thus there may be similar passages in places.

Because some people, believe it nor not, don't read the entire bible so they might miss it. Think about it, Kings is one of the more boring books so sometimes people kinda skim it. Actually, thats not the only time that happens.

the number two spiritually speaking means something is established. One is unity and commencment, three is complete....
