Genesis: One pair of some & 7 pairs of others.
Exodus: Israel didn't go out of their houses until early morning. The pharaoh yelled for them to leave late night, after the firstborn of many Egyptians died. The Egyptians gave them gifts to get them to leave quicker. All that took time.
Exodus: God changed His mind about a judgment on Israel (adolatry) because of Moses prayers. God would still fulfill His promises to Abraham through Moses. God is a God of His Word & keeps His promises. It is written that He lifts up His Word above His Name. He does not repent like a man would. Mankind messes up then repent.
Matthew/Acts: Confessing Jesus Christ Lord of ones life is only true if it is done with heart faith (believing in one's heart He died on the cross for remission of one's sins and rose up for ones justification). If there is no heart faith. One can say Lord Lord till their head falls off. And their purpose is only so others can see. They are really hypocrites because they don't believe in Jesus Christ the Lord.
Withour faith it is impossible to please God, for those that come to Him must believe that He Is, and is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. Whatever is not of faith is sin.
The name of the Lord is Jesus Christ, Yeshua Messiah, or Saviour. The Son of God, YHVH, Adonay, & many more titles....
Matthew. We need to believe the Word of God over what our parents teach if they don't believe. The Word of God is a sword in the family if one believes & one doesn't. Honour your parents in the Lord. Notice the "In the Lord" part. If your parents want you to bring some donuts laced with cianide to the neighbors, don't do it. Jesus, your Lord, had just told you to love your neighbors as yourself. You need to love the Word of God more than your parents.
Matthew. The fruit of the vine is His blood that is shed for many for the remission of sins. The unleavened bread is His body that is broken for us that we are healed. (He was wounded for our transgressions & by His stripes we are healed.) (People has in past history did the ultimate sin of sacrificing their children to devils & drinking the blood. Some devil worshipper cults still do this.) Jesus is not asking us to drink the actual blood He shed on the cross. He is asking us to remember what He did for us. He said, "Do this in rememberance of me."
Mark: A crucifixion process started the 3rd hour, another part of the crucifixion started the 6th hour. Also it was the 3rd hour, they crucified Him. It was the day of the passover, at the 6th hour, Pilot said, "Behold your King...".
Mark, John: Many different Marys in Jesus life & there at the crucifixion. They were probably a ways away or closer at different times. Then Mark & John might think differently on what close is & what a distance is when they recorded what they saw.
John: The rooster crowed after each denial. (It clearly crowed after the 3rd time and it got Peter's attention where He ran away crying.) Peter denied Jesus three times. After the resurrection, Jesus asked Peter If He loved Him three different times. Peter knew He had denied Him three times.
Acts: Paul is not a liar. He is truely saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

1) Two of each except the clean animals, just like it says
2) The Bible is factual - Moses and Aaron went out at night. What is your point?
3) Exodus 32:14 naÌcham translated as repented (change mind)
Numbers 23:19 daÌbar (cease from evil)
Different things
4) Matthew 7:21 lego translated "called" (most version have 'say')
Acts 2:21 epikaleomai translated as "called"
Not the same thing - diffrent words
5) miseoÌ translated as "hate" - literally "love less than". They are to honor parents, just not more that Jesus
6) Correct. They were not to drink the blood of the animal sacrifices, but to wait for the blood of the true sacrifice. That is why the drinking of the animal blood was forbidden
7) Roman clock starts at midnight (so sixth hour to Roman covernor Pilate when he tried Jesus)
Jewish clock starts at sunrise, third hour to Jews when they mocked him.
8) At some point during the six hours Jeus hung on the cross, she moved
9) Mark 13:38 crowed is the future imperative tense in the Greek "shall not have finished crowing" Rooster crowed after each betrayal and was finished after the last
10) Simple, they show the light and hear the sound, but only Paul understood the words.
Sorry, no winners this time, but thank you for playing!!

where do I start- OK, at the top.
There were only 2 of each animal. Birds are not technically animals and there were 7 of those.
2. The sinners could not go out of their houses and the Christian people could leave. That is when your door was marked with blood and the first born son was killed. The reason Pharaoh said to get out was because he was afraid, but after his own son dies, he changed his mind and went after him and that is when God helped them and parted the sea.
3. Calling on the Lord will not save you- But calling for the Lord to be in your heart and save you is what you do.
4. hate not - meaning you can not hate.
5. Drinking the blood of animals is sin- the blood of Christ is symbolic - not literal.
6. There are 2 Mary's and only one was at the cross. You have his mother and you have Mary Magdalene
7. Paul was an apostle
Any more questions?

question no.1- could it have been 2 of each kind of seed? male and female? hardly could take an apple tree in the ark.
question no 2. The Lord told the Israelites to put blood on their doorpost, so that the angel of death would pass them by. Pharaoh told them to leave after the angel of death had struck all the firstborn of Egypt the next day.
question no.3 The Lord repented only after Moses interceded for his people., saying what would the rest of the world say about God if he led the people out of Egypt and then left them to die in the wilderness? The Lord does not repent, unless people turn from their ways and obey his commandments.
question no.4 Jesus Our Lord meant by that the people who gave Him lip service only. You forgot to mention that Paul said "Anyone who professes in his heart that Christ is Lord and that God has raised him from the dead, will be saved."
question no 5 This is one of the 10 commandments, not everyone can keep this commandment. Luke meant by that If anyone accepts Christ as Lord and saviour, Christ's love should come before the love of parents, as parents are not always right in what they tell their children. ie. If a parent tells a child to lie, to hate his neighbour.
question no.6 The last supper. The wine they drink was a symbol of the blood Christ shed for all of mankind. "He said "Do this in remembrance of me as oft as ye come together." In other words we remember the sacrifce He made for all who believe that by His death, He made atonement for our sins. Dont worry they use wine or grape juice. It is in honor of the great sacrifice He made.
question no.7 Mark and John were both witnesses. John mentions the time when Jesus was brought before Pilate. Mark mentions the time when they actually crucified Christ. Does it matter really, just that there are 2 witnesses describing the same event that Christ was tried and crucified, even though He was innocent?
question no 8 Jesus said to Mary "Behold thy son," and to John "Behold thy mother" This is where the church was created, where everyone becomes brother, sister, mother, father, having the same care for each other, with Christ Jesus as Lord as the head of the church.
question no.9 It could be an error in translation, what matters is it happened that Peter did deny Him, as the Lord had foretold.
question 10. It is possible the men with him could have heard a voice, but not understand what Christ was saying to Paul. The men that were with him were all afraid. Paul persecuted the apostles and christians before Christ appeared to Him, Shows Christ protects his people. The apostles therefore distrusted someone who was so zealous in persecuting them then turn around and become one of them. understandable?
My question why so many questions? And why pick the Word of God apart? Remember Christ said :You strain at a gnat and swallow a camel." Isn't it wonderfull there are so many witnesses who testify of Him? If 3 or 4 witnesses tell something they have seen, none of them will tell it exactly in the same words isnt that true? my advise When reading the Holy Scriptures ask the Lord to open up your heart and mind to be able to understand.

one at a time please
1)Seven pairs of birds and clean animals is two of each kind of bird and clean animal at that time. the first vs. is more general than the second.
2) they did not leave until morning only the egyptians were running around at night.
3)The Lord also refers to Jesus who existed in spiritual form at the beginning.
4)Jesus is the God incarnate savior, Paul but a preacher. My money is on God. Paul told the truth as he knew it an there for it was not a flawed statement.
5)Honor has nothing to do with love but respect I respect GWB but come close to hating him.
6)Deut. is as you say an actual act. drinking the actual blood of the sacrifice. MT. is a symbolic jesture and not a violation. BTW Christs death and resurection fulfilled the law so even if it is wrong it is ok.
7)No timex or rolex in those days the only accurate time is dusk and dawn and thos are subjective by season.
8)again one is specific and one is general. "at the cross"=general, "a far off"-specific.
9)predictive quote, actual happening. the prediction was of by a few minutes. oops.
10)Paul did not write acts so we know not where the first verse come from the others are Paul relating his experience in the corse of discussion. How often have you told a story slightly differently to empahsize a specifc point pertaining to the discussion?

Flawless? What do you mean by flawless? Rejected? Rejected by whom?
You are much mistaken – both in your reference to “flawless” and in your perception that there are contradictions in your Bible citations.
Of all animals, two of each kind was taken on the Ark for the purpose of animal preservation. Of those animals designated as “clean”, seven of each kind was taken on the Ark for the purpose of sacrifice.
There is no contradiction in Exodus. The plague struck at midnight, from the firstborn of Pharaoh to the firstborn of those in prison to the first born of every beast. Obviously, some time was involved here. Verse 30 says there was not one house without dead. It would take time for all the Egyptians to know that. Well after midnight. It was morning when Moses was summoned.
There is no contradiction between Matthew 7 and Acts 2. Both reference calling on the name of the Lord in connection with salvation; Christ makes it clear that failing to do the will of his heavenly father would render that calling a waste of time.
There is no contradiction at Matthew 15 and Luke 14. Christ plainly means that we are to love family members less than we love Christ if we intend to be his followers, a statement that finds further explanation at Matthew 10:37 where Christ teaches that having more affection for family members than for Christ is not worthy of him.
It is fairly easy to post an exhaustive list of apparent, supposed Bible contradictions – Internet sites are fairly teeming with them. The above, coupled with responses from other posters should be sufficient to demonstrate that taking scriptures out of context and leaving out pertinent information is no basis upon which to contend that the Bible is contradictory and therefore “flawed.”

Wolverine - great job. I fear that you are going to only receive double-talk and circular logic, and you will be told a hundred times that you have taken these all out of context.
However, there is no way anyone can explain these glowing inconsistencies. They will attempt to, but it is all BS. I just checked another site that a girl suggested had the responses to these questions, and it was almost hysterical...did you know that the Hebrew word "XXX" means "xxx", "XyX" and "YxY", and you just have to make sure youre using the correct version of that word in order to read the Bible correctly! WOW! We all need a reading companion to the Bible, so that we can understand exactly what it is trying to tell us.
Makes me wonder...why would an all powerful, all knowing God write a book open to intrepretation and so misleading that many people would question it?? I mean, would he have KNOWN that no one was going to be able to understand it a 1000 years down the road?? Why not say exactly what he means, rather than speaking in codes??
Oh, cuz its all a sham, thats why...

i was talking to my pastor about the infallibility of biblical texts once and he mentioned this story:
once when he was in seminary he took a class on the gospels. at one point the professor asked on a test how a verse from matthew could be reconciled with a verse from mark. he spent half an hour writing out what he thought was the anwer - it was logically sound and to his mind seemed to fit in with orthodox church teachings, so he handed in his test.
when he got the test back he got full points for his answer but written there, right underneath his page long answer was a simple question from his instructor which marked a change - the way he puts it, a maturing - in the way he views the bible. the question was, "what if one of them simply made a mistake?"
:^)
if you're not a christian (which i assume) please remember (or realize, if this is the first time you've encountered this point) that there are billions of christians on this planet and only a VERY VERY VEEEEERRRRRYYYY small percentage of us believe in biblical infallibility - and an even smaller percentage of the WHOLE church, which stretches back 2000 years.

Good luck getting anything other than double talk and nonsense on these.
The best they can ever come up with is mistranslations and copyist errors.
You will also be accused of taking it out of context... even though each verse and the opposing verse is talking about the same thing with different facts.
Looking forward to seeing the responses... if you get any.

1. The animals were taken aboard for different reasons. Some for food, some for repopulating the Earth after the flood, some for sacrifice. This is why various amounts were taken aboard.
2. No one leaving the house was referring to the Death angel passing over Egypt and killing the firstborn children of all the houses that were left unprotected by the blood on the doorposts that God commanded Israel to paint on theirs. Getting Israel out of Egypt was Pharoah's way of being released fro the 10 plagues God sent upon Egypt for holding israel captive and not turning from their idolatrous ways.
3. The Lord "repenting of the evil" was His way of letting Moses know that he would give Israel space to repent of their idol worship while moses was on Sinai receiving the 10 Commandments. Numbers 23:19 is speaking of God not reversing the blessing Baalam stole from Balak because it was prepared just as sacrifices were intended to be prepared and therefore it had to be honored by God. God couldn't "repent" of taking the sacrifice away from Baalam and giving it to Balak.
4. Matthew 7:21 is making reference to those who would use God as a "crutch", calling on Him whenever they need help instead of truly wanting forgiveness of their sins and being shown how to live their lives. Acts 2:21 is making reference to what man must do to be saved once the covenant has changed with the pending death of Jesus.
5. Honoring one's mother and father is what's ordained of God in a Christian-led family; the parents deserve and command respect in this instance for it teaches the child to do the same when it grows up and has a family of it's own. But Luke 14:26 is referring to a person having to forsake his parents if necessary to serve God. A person cannot live in a household of respect for God when their authority figure/leadership doesn't respect God. You either love God in the spiritual sense or you hate him. Same goes for love/hate in the spiritual sense concerning your parents.
6."Drink ye all of it" was God's directive to the disciples at the Passover so that their sins could be atoned for all time through
obediance of the new covenant. The animals that were used for the old covenant practice of salvation were simply not enough to cover sin for all time and therefore were "tainted" by man's sins more and more as time passed. The disciples were made to drink it as a symbol of the PURITY of Christ's sacrifice as opposed to the "recycled" nature of the sacrifice of the bullocks.
7. Who cares what time He was actually crucified? All we have to understand is that it happened for the remission of all sin for all time!
8. Apparently Mary made her way through the crowd to the foot of the Cross because Jesus didn't have to shout down to her as He would have had she remained afar off.
9. Mark 14:72 also says that the cock crew after the third denial also. Therefore 3 denials, 2 crows.
10. Actually, his name was SAUL of Tarsus! He became known as Paul after his conversion to Christianity upon being struck blind on the Damascus road and after being preached and cared for by Ananias. Please show me something more than your word concerning the Apostles considering Paul preaching falsehoods because Paul WAS an APOSTLE! How could he be in a league with the very men Jesus HANDPICKED to develop the early Church under His direction if he were a false prophet?
