when will muslims realize that shouting Allah akbar and killing people is not going to humanize islam?
Allah scratchbar sounds a better word right?

What is your definition of salvation? What do you think it requires to get into the kingdom of God? If you confess your sins to a priest, are you allowed to confess them to Jesus by yourself? Do you talk to God and pray when you're alone at home by yourself?
Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Psalm 69:13
But I pray to you, O LORD, in the time of your favor; in your great love, O God, answer me with your sure salvation.

Isn't it OK to pray by yourself?

PS. This is not a dis on Catholic. I really am open to hear why you go to priests and have other questions as well.

i dun believe in religion and violence is the main reason tht i dun, how can a religion say tht they r the only 'truth' (christianity, islam, hinduism) look at mid east MESSED UP (i knw coz i live dere) ppl give up life for so called 'god' has any1 seen this 'god' or seen heaven or hell evn i can rite **** in books and show it to my great great great gradnson

I am not Catholic, so the way I understand how the religion works is: 1) you go to confession to confess your sins, 2) the Priest tells you to say a # of Hail Mary's and Our Father's) and when you do these things, you will be forgiven.

However, the way I see it work in San Antonio, Texas, is Catholics think if they do these things they are forgiven and can do these same sins again.

It is MY belief that you ONLY receive forgiveness if you are TRULY sorry that you commited them and you promise not to repeat the sin. If you continue to repeat the same sin, God says, "Hey, you don't really mean what you say, so NO--you are NOT forgiven."

Religious folks sometimes like to say that atheism is all about ego, because we rely on our own reason and conscience rather than submitting to what is supposedly the word of a god. However, it seems to me to be *massively* more egotistical to think that you are the Special Creation of a deity, that you're spoken to by god himself, and that the entire universe exists just for your benefit, than to accept that you're just the accidental product of an undirected natural process in a vast unthinking universe, with no special significance.

How can I attain guaranted destiny without illness, without insults, wilthout poverty and without misery? I want teaching that will solve all my problems with great certainty. Not: because you have done that, you must suffer; or: you have such bad karma and you have to suffer more. No! I just want this answer: no metter how bad or good you are, you can be saved now and attain all merits and be happy without doubts. Any other teaching has not enough worth.

Listen if you dont believe in God get a life and stop being rude to religious people and calling them fanatic or ppl believeing in fairy tale...if you tryin to convince them about atheism then whats the diff between Atheism and religious people right..
Godless people are lost and are jealous of religious ppl leading a peaceful life with good family life if that pinches you then convert and accept god if not .....THEN GET A F@CKING LIFE....Thats my way of evangelising gotcha.. Godless people..God is not standing on election to win a vote and become a president of the world if u need him you'll go if not then Die whereever you want or do whatever u want.
Cause God is not happy to see people leading immoral life.
