-Jesus considered the Gentiles inferior beings: "It is not meet to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs." (Matthew 15:26)
-and stated unequivocally that he was NOT sent to them: "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel" (Matthew 15:24)
- He, the Prince of Peace, came to bring not peace but a sword: "I came not to send peace, but a sword." Matthew 10:34
- He came to bring division and strife: "Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you nay; but rather division!" Luke 12:51
-If any man come to me and HATE NOT his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, and his own life also, he CANNOT be my disciple!" Luke 14:26
-Whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whoever has NOT, from him shall be taken away even what he has!!" Matthew 13:12.(sounds like today!)
-Jesus taught us to love our enemies [(Matthew 5:44)

Even Jesus used this greeting. The Jews say Shalom and Muslims say WaSalaam Aleikum. I think those are very noble practises.

Why do we just greet each other with the words "hello" or "Good day", etc?

Peace be upon you!(that feels good to say) :-) Veritas

I ask this as one who has studied the Bible (I was in Seminary) and questions the validity and motives of those who profess to it's teachings yet are vile both in word and in their deeds when it comes to others who are different. The truth of the Bible is in its message of Love but has sadly been co-opted by Fundementalists and Radicals who like those who co-opt Islam, have turned it into a book of Hate. At this point please, I would ask that only legitimate responses be offered, no selective quotes, no accusations of not understanding the book and most importantly, please do not use the King James Version as your reference given that the books' name reveals its' invalidation (it is a 'Version' not the real deal). One other point, I think the Bible is a great book, a worthy guide to living and loving, but sadly I believe it is being used to harm.

I know I'll get a lot of remarks, but hear me out. I have a theory that there could be a "science" to "faith" Maybe faith is an ingenious plot to see our true self. Example. Poker game. Teacher tells 2 students "I've gave you the book on how to play cards, now it's time for you to take over from here" Student A takes what he learns from the book and makes a "conclusion" that 4 aces lie in his unshown hand, and makes a bet. In the next hand the teacher shows the Student B the 4 Aces he has, and the student makes a bet on what he saw with his own eyes.
Which student deserves the money the most? The one who bet on "faith" or the one who bet on what was proven?
My belief is that Christians, when asked about how things began, answer with "Because it just is, and God did it " and Atheists answer with "We can't prove there is a God, so there must not be one" What do you think?

You say that all mankind are sinners, it is hard for me to believe that (How can you say that Newborn babies Thousands who die before reaching the age of five Because of diseases in Many poor African countries are sinners)
Anyhow you believe that all mankind are sinners on the Hypothesis of Two persons
Known as Adam & Eve who committed a sin millions of years ago and we are all their descendents and hence some how we carry their legacy of sins

·First Adam and Eve were normal human beings, they were not supernatural, and how many kids could they have produced in those times, remember in the past average human life expectancy or life was around 35 years, so the belief that they traveled around the world and gave birth to different children in different continents can be easily debated.
·Secondly were Adam and Eve White, Black or Multiracial, How can you explain So many different Races of people being off springs of Adam and Eve who are generally depicted and believed to be White.(did they give Birth to Chinese ,Asian ,African and European predecessors)
·Thirdly this is the most important argument, In modern times we have discovered DNA Testing, Anybody can easily identify any persons relatives (father, brother, sister etc) If we all were descendents of common parents and Evolution was lies than all of us would have a similar DNA Come now No Black man is related to a White man on purely biological DNA testing.(many Muslims marry with their cousins, Genghis Khan & his son Who Raped so many women more than 6% of people bearing his Y Chromosome ,come do we all bear a same chromosome
We should all be bearing Adams Chromosome)
Don’t give me religious Quotations and don’t say have faith, or else I Will say eat my ****, have faith you will become immortal

Just a simple argument will suffice

To suggest that the devil is not created by god gives credence to the fact that the devil is an alternative god which manifested itself. Which means there could be several gods. And if god is all powerful and created everything why did he create a devil in the first place and on what of the 7 days did he do it and why is the creation of this other being not mentioned in the bible - I would have thought it would have been a whole chapter of its own.

Personal experience testimony welcomed. Seems that all aggressive religion strains have three things in common:

1. they claim to be the only truth or at least the best purest truth

2. They claim to be the fastest growing religion in the world

3. They claim to be the only religion hated and persecuted by others

What else could create something as complex as the universe? Or the human body? Think about how we are made. Every detail is covered. The ability of the body to heal cuts and other healings. The conception of and birth of a baby. I don't think some ameba or some comit could design such intelligence as the human body. What is your answer? We were created by a mold spore? A rotting leaf?

ZetaTalk: Old Souls Note: written May 15, 1997
If the Earth is a home to forming entities, and the Council of Worlds is regulating visits between entities who have graduated from such homes to travel about the Universe, then just how ancient are such entities sitting on the Council? The length of time is not a relevant guide here, as progression in spiritual matters is less a matter of years but a matter of growth. There are old souls in the Service-to-Self camps that have barely progressed past the point of most immature souls on Earth! They are firmly Service-to-Self, and thus progressed to 4th Density, and there they sit. There are relatively young souls who move rapidly through the densities, as by their nature they learn rapidly and do not hesitate to apply their knowledge. And in between are the vast majority, who linger at points, revisit areas they have passed through before to solidify lessons, and become blocked due to their nature now

When scriptures proves otherwise,

Romans 1:3-4
3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Matthew 1:1-20
1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. 16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

In this generation timeline, Joseph is included as one of the
Fleshly Fathers of Jesus. Scritures below back me. Scriptures do not contradict. People need to get understanding from it.

Isa. 11:1-2, Rev. 22:16, Matt 3:16, John 1:33-34, Acts 13:22-23, Luke 1:31-33, Jeremiah 23:5, Heb 2:16

Common misunderstood scripture is Luke 1:27-37. The bible never says, "IMMACULATE CONCEPTION". Jesus is still the
Son of God, but he is also made from the seed of David.

What is your take on the Seed of David Scrip

and that "hell" is the grave....why do JWs get buried?

Soul Sleep. JWs deny the immortality of the soul. They do not believe the soul can exist apart from the body, but that a corpse remains in an unconscious state in the grave waiting for the resurrection.

Annihilation of the Wicked. JWs teach that the "second death" is annihilation and extinction -- the wicked will cease to exist and will not suffer everlasting torment. They claim that a "doctrine of a burning hell" is "wholly unscriptural," "unreasonable," "contrary to God's love," and "repugnant to justice." [They claim that "hell" is the grave.

It has been said that God is real. I am curious to see if this is true. In my reading of the Bible I have read some points on prayer.

Matthew 7:7, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-14, Matthew 18:19 and James 5:15-16

In Mark 9:23:
All things are possible to him who believes.
In Luke 1:37:
For with God nothing will be impossible.

Since all things are possible to him who believes, and for with God nothing will be impossible, could we pray for something that logically God could do, to reveal himself to us.

Lets pray this, Dear God, almighty, all-powerful, all-loving creator of the universe, we pray to you to cure every case of cancer on this planet tonight. We pray in faith, knowing you will bless us as you describe in Matthew 7:7, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-14, Matthew 18:19 and James 5:15-16. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Will you pray with me, sincerely, and see if we see a cure of cancer

In my church (Presbyterian) some members are always treating our pastor (a very good one) as an employee, watching all that he and his family are doing and demanding him about the time he spends in his vacations, the use of church facilities (such PC´s)., etc., just because they think that it is their tithes that are paying his "salary". They are not bad people but in my oppinion they are shortsighted and they dont know better. I feel that he and his family suffer on account of this situation. I´m going to write an article in our bulettin about the subject. I dont want to hurt anybody, just to open their eyes. I also need some Bible verses to back me up.

Salvation . JWs claim everlasting life is a reward for doing the will of God and carrying out one's dedication -- in other words, salvation is a reward for good works. (JWs are expected to spend five hours per week in door-to-door visitation and witnessing, are responsible for selling twelve subscriptions to The Watchtower magazine each month, and are responsible for conducting a "Bible study" each month in the homes of their converts.) According to JW theology, a person has one of three possible destinies. The Anointed (144,000) will be in heaven to reign with Jehovah God. The rest of the faithful Jehovah's Witnesses (not of the 144,000) will live forever on a paradise Earth. Both of these classifications are determined to a great extent on membership in the Watchtower organization as well as going door-to-door spreading the message of the Watchtower. Those people who are not members of the Watchtower organization will be destroyed by Jehovah God and cease to exist.
