In order to understand the answers of this question you really need to understand the history and cultural implications of this. The money changers were first of all making a profit off of the exchange of money. Secondly, the exchange was something that shouldn't have needed to happen if we all think about it. I would think that a church here would accept canadian money as well as the american dollar. Third, the place where the money changers were located when Jesus threw them out was a holy place where they should not have been. I believe that there is more to the story than just Jesus throwing out the money changers. That's a problem with a lot of questions today. People forget to look at the whole picture. I encourage you to look at many aspects of each passage and see if there is a cultural aspect that may be confusing you or if there are other things you might be missing.

Matthew 7:21-23- he's in basic terms saying we ought to do his Father's will. he's not denying divinity. Matthew 5:17-19- convinced, he got here to fulfill the regulation, so what? Luke 18:19- No the position became Jesus saying "i'm no longer solid" or "i'm no longer God". He became saying "If i'm solid, and God is solid, what does that inform you?" Mark 12:29, Matthew 22:37, Luke 10:27- It not in any respect says "So worship him". You further that your self. And the subsequent verses are in basic terms saying "Love the Lord your God". John 5:30- the answer is that Jesus is both God and guy in a unmarried man or woman. This doctrine is named the hypostatic union. As a guy, Jesus became lower than the regulation and became obligated to keep the regulation (Gal. 4:4). In His humbled state of being below the angels (Heb. 2:9), Jesus became cooperating with the obstacles of being a guy (Phil. 2:5-8). therefore, He became in finished subjection to the daddy so as that He ought to fulfill the regulation and be the intense priest sacrifice for our sins (Heb. 5:10). "You were all born muslims yet lower than the impact of your societies deviated from the authentic course. Revert to islam. Allah the almighty will forgive all of your previous sins. go back to Islam formerly this is too previous due." Sorry, i became not in any respect a Muslim. Neither became Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah, Jeremiah, ,etc nor John the Baptist and surely, the Lord Jesus Christ became no longer. in case you imagine Jesus isn't God examine the following verses: John a million:a million, John a million:3, Revelation a million:8, Revelation a million:17, John 8:fifty 8, Luke 6:5, Mark 2:28, Matthew 12:8, John 5:23, John 8:24, Matthew 9:6, Matthew 13:forty-one, Matthew 16:27, Hebrews a million:8-10, Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 24:27, Matthew 25:31, Mark 2:10, Mark 8:38, Mark 13:26, Mark 14:sixty 2, Luke 9:26, Daniel 7:13-14, Luke 17:24, Luke 21:27, Luke 22:sixty 9, Acts 7:fifty six, Hebrews a million:3, Hebrews 13:8, a million John 4:14, II Peter 3:18 , II Peter a million:a million , John 4:forty 2, Titus a million:4, Luke 2:11, Acts 4:12, 2 Timothy 2:10 , Hebrews 2:10, Hebrews 5:9, Colossians a million:16, Mark 2:5, Titus 2:13-14, John 10:30, John 14:9-11, John 14:6, a million John 5:7, Acts 2:27, Acts 3:13-14, Matthew 9:18, Hebrews a million:6, John 20:28, John 17:5, Matthew 8:16, John 5:22, John a million:4 , and John 5:21.

Tithing is an Old Testament concept. The tithe was a requirement of the law in which all Israelites were give 10% of everything they earned and grew to the Tabernacle / Temple (Leviticus 27:30; Numbers 18:26; Deuteronomy 14:24; 2 Chronicles 31:5). Some understand the Old Testament tithe as a method of taxation to provide for the needs of the priests and Levites of the sacrificial system. The New Testament nowhere commands, or even recommends that Christians submit to a legalistic tithe system. Paul states that believers should set aside a portion of their income in order to support the church (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).

The New Testament nowhere assigns a certain percentage of income to set aside, but only says it is to be “in keeping with his income” (1 Corinthians 16:2). The Christian church has essentially taken the 10% figure from the Old Testament tithe and applied it as a “recommended minimum” for Christians in their giving. However, Christians should not feel obligated to always tithe. They should give as they are able, “in keeping with his income.” Sometimes that means giving more than a tithe, sometime that may mean giving less than a tithe. It all depends on the ability of the Christian and the needs of the church. Each and every Christian should diligently pray and seek God’s wisdom as to whether to participate in tithing and/or for how much he or she should give (James 1:5). “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

Give to the glory of God, and He will bless you. Don't give grudgenly.

If Jesus were alive today, he would be the one getting thrown out of most modern day Churches. The money changers have clearly become more sophisticated since the last time around.

If Jesus wanted to have intelligent debate about religion and beliefs, he'd be better off becoming a Buddhist or a Hindu as the major prostelatizing religions might be too busy trying to convert him to actually listen to anything he had to say.

The money Changers were gouging the people who needed to buy sacrifices for the temple.
Churches run on money just like everything else in life. We are asked for Tithe, 10% of 1st fruit. To do so is obedience to God.

God asks for 10% tithe to help support the Mother Church so the Word may be spread and preached. The money changers were not doing any buisiness to help the church, only themselfs.

Churches should never ask for money. The congregants should support the church. Certain ministries do ask for money on TV from their TV audience. Some are for noble causes, some is only to make people like Benny Hinn rich. At any rate-they are not talking to you.

Hello Ludd Loves Y... :)

Because the money changers kept the money for themselves and did not give it to the Temple..

It's called a tithe and it's not for the church, it's to help the person that gives it. Read Malachai 3:8-11-so you won't have a curse, you will continue to be prosperous and blessed

The money changers had turned God's house into a swap meet. Obviously, not very Godly.
