" Love the Christian. Hate Christianity "

I thought it was interesting to see the "Love the sinner, hate the sin" line used in this way.

Perhaps he couldn't face the idea of Mary having a secret lover, and so would have believed anything other than accept this. Or was he just trying to do the right thing and look after the woman he loved after the other guy took off?

Not sure if I should post this in the history section, sorry if my question offends anyone.

I want to know from all you believers, is it all based on blind faith? If one of you gives me a flawless proof, I will be very happy, but I am doubtful that this will occur.

Any answers not even making the slightest attempt to answer the question will be reported (don't worry, I will be very lenient, only reporting the worst answers [you know the kind I mean])

So do the people there have feelings as Americans might have had during the civil war? Do they consider their enemies and life might have been different had Ishmel and Haggar not been sent away?

It is excepted by many people and believed that intelligent lifeform
perhaps more intelligent than us may exist on other planets,
Suppose if a spaceship crashes on Earth or scientists get any concrete proof of such lifeforms existing, and if they have no knowledge about your Christ will you try to venture to their planets and educate them that Christ is the Saviour?

Just take all the best ideas from each one and make one big one.
That way we can move past all this debating and discover real truths. An existence beyond our own is fantastic. But everyones stuck on "was there really a FLOOD or not".Ridiculous. Time to become Adults.

Someone once demonstrated that God exists by postulating the opposite, ie that He does not, and then 'proved' that this is untrue. Does anyone out there have any knowledge of the argument used?

Theists on Y!A sometimes protest that questions about atheism should not be permitted in the Religion and Spirituality forum. But discussions about the non-existence of God touch on the same questions as those asked (or should be) by theists. Atheists, in general, are deeply interested in matters of where we came from, why we are here, what it means to be moral, what happens to us after we die, questions raised under the umbrella term of religion. But they have concluded that the answers to these questions do not require the existence of a deity, for whom they see no evidence anyway.

Atheists, contrary to what more ignorant people might think, also hold very firm beliefs about the nature of being - we do not believe in "nothing". We are POSITIVE that there is no god, but that we must live a good life under some other code.

So can anyone explain why they think this forum should be for the exclusive use of one small group of people interested in the questions above?

I find that people are misled about who the anti-christ is because they just say what other misled people say. The true anti-christ will not be somebody easy to pinpoint out. The bible says that most will be deceived by him except for a few that God has chosen. It will be so subtle and deceptive that most of the world will believe him. Firstly many people think that the white horseman of the apocalypse with the bow is Jesus' return. It can't be! Jesus is represented with a sword in his mouth (Gods word) and not a bow. And he will return in the clouds with the sky rolling away like a scroll and destroy the anti-christ. He won't appear in peace. He will appear with wrath because of how people have forgotten him and to stop global destruction. The Beast is Europe in my opinion and the Purplr Harlot is the Roman Catholic Church. The Harlot rides the beast. Think about it! But this is open argument, it's just my own opinion.
