I mean really, do they even read the bible?

You dont need to read the bible, listen to anyone, or even go to church. Everything is in you, the church, the law, and love, just follow your spirt. I can't believe how many people here quote these strange scriptures and say some one is going to hell...

1 John 2:27
the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you

Romans 7:6
But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code

Hebrews 8:11
No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest

Galatians 3
10All who rely on observing the law are under a curse

anything in the bible before death can be forgotten..

The entirely unearthly Mithras was worshipped as the "Good Shepherd", "the Way, the Truth and the Light", and as a redeemer, saviour and Messiah. Mithras was supposed to have been born to a virgin on what is now 25 December, and was visited by shepherds and Magi. He travelled and taught, cast out devils, made miracle cures, held a last supper, was killed, buried in a rock tomb and rose again after three days, at the time of the spring equinox in March (equivalent to the Christian Easter). Mithraism included baptism and Sunday worship, with a Eucharist and sacraments.

Mithra's birth was witnessed by shepherds and by Magi bearing gifts to his sacred birth-cave of the Rock (J. Smith 146). Mithra's image was buried in a rock tomb, a sacred cave that represented his Mother's womb. This was ritualistically removed each year, and he was said to live again. Mithra's triumph and ascension to heaven were celebrated during the spring equinox.

The similarities are striking.

If you died and was sent to hell and was given one opportunity to enter Heaven would you do it?

Your about to be sent to hell and Jesus says to you, "I will give you one chance and one chance only to make up for your sins. The reason you get this opportunity is because you took your life for someone else. So your option is to stay in hell forever for your sins or burn in hell for 1,654,254 years to enter my kingdom. Each year is for one sin. So what's your choice?"

So what option would you choose?

Isn’t this a war crime against international laws? Why western countries and media show no reactions for this kind of mass terrorism but when a suicide bomber perform a single attack all the world raise up? Isn’t this hypocrisy? All kind of terrorism should be prevented, including destruction of infrastucture in Lebanon and Palestine, isn't this right?

If the term 'marriage' supposedly gives the implication that there is religious sanctioning on the union of two people, does this mean that marriages performed by a Judge or Justices of the Peace are invalid?

Personally, I don't believe religion has the definitive say in what marriage is, who should be able to marry and just who can perform a marriage ceremony.

Your thoughts....?

have you guys read history?

Israel has been in three major wars 1948 independance war. the 1967 six day war, 1973 Yom Kippur war

not to mention small conflicts inbetween like the Lebanon war and the first and second intifada.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_involving_Israel

What makes you think that now is the "great sign" of the end? To me it just looks like another battle in a semingly never ending conflict.

What if Muslim countries wake up and decided to stop all commercial ties with America (including Oil supply and importing American goods), what the scenario then will be? Isn’t America a partner of Israel in killing and torturing innocent civilians in Palestine?

There are mortal sins and venial sins. An example of a mortal sin would be murdering someone while knowing that is was against God's will to do so. A venial sin would be saying, "Oh my God" in excitement. Am I mistaken on this or do all Protestants think all sin is the same?

I have seen more than one person claim that truth is relative. While I've seen excellent reasoning for truth being absolute, I have yet to see even average reasoning for truth being relative. So here is my challenge - can you show, with sound reasoning and logic, that truth is relative?

I will pick the answer with the best reasoning whether I agree with it or not.

This is part of an experiment I am running where I put Christianity on trial. For more, please see my 360 blog: http://360.yahoo.com/~maximus53

Is it not possible creationism is the only correct view?
Just because God created all there is doesn't in the least bit mean that he didn't create it in a way that things didn't evolve and still are. After all we do know he tests faith why couldn't evolutionism be one great big test of faith.............

GOD and Jesus can not be the same person GOD IS GOD Jesus is the son of GOD and also the word. Jesus is the alpha and the omega "the beginning and the end" GOD has no beginning or a end. How can God sit on his on right hand. another would be why would God pray to him self asking for this cup to be lifted off of him if he was GOD. another thing why would he say FATHER forgive them they know not what they do. GOD can not die and Jesus did. if Jesus was god then the whole suffering and dying was a trick.why would Jesus pray to him self. why would Jesus call him self the son of man. God says he is a jealous GOD put no one before him and when you say they are the same thats what you are doing.

so see how they cant be the same, but what they are is one in agreement they agree with each other. people who think they are the same person need to go back and read the bible again
please answer with scripture.
