Israel has been in three major wars 1948 independance war. the 1967 six day war, 1973 Yom Kippur war

not to mention small conflicts inbetween like the Lebanon war and the first and second intifada.

What makes you think that now is the "great sign" of the end? To me it just looks like another battle in a semingly never ending conflict.

"Children have no respect for their elders, they do not stand up when elders enter, they make loud noises ......Truly, the end of the world is near".
This is graffiti written on one of the walls of Pompeii, a city that was buried in volcanic ash in 79 AD & discovered by archeologists in the 17th century. The ash preserved even minute details of the ordinary life of Pompei & its citizens . .
What does the graffiti indicate - That even two thousnd years ago people were convinced that the end of the world was imminent.
I hope this puts things in perspective.

Have you read prophecy? "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains." It also speaks of all nations rising up to fight against Israel. There are many prophesies in the Bible, and put all together, the signs are starting to happen more. That does not mean that the labor will go quickly. 100 years is really not a long time. So, the "end times" could be now, but not actually ending for another 100....or it could be less, who knows til it happens, but it will happen!!!

Because we are obsessed with death and the end of the world. Anytime something happens that resembles Biblical prophecy people jump and point at it. I guess they are excited because it means they get to heaven faster.

A lot of Biblical scholars hold that all Biblical prophecy about the end times was fulfilled within a few centuries of Christ's death, and even if not the Bible says Christ's return will come when no one expects it...so I don't know why people always try to figure it out.

The "Jews" that we should really be interested in are the spiritual Jews, Christs annointed brothers, the members of the Christian congregation.

Natural Israel was cast off and are no longer significant. A true Jew is one who does the works of Abraham, that is, righteousness.

John 8:39
Romans 2:29
Romans 9:6

When you look at prophecies referring to Israel in the Bible, try looking at it from the fact that Israel is now God's annointed congregation, the "new nation" . (1 Peter 2:7-10)

I kind of agree with you...To me the world isn't going to end in one blow, and everyone dies. I think everyone of us if gonna make our own life end or someone Else's...which makes it the end of the world for us right!!!

I also think that it's the cause of people being greedy and stupid that by doing something bad to someone wont take back what they did to you....I think some governments need to mature, grow up and face their problems by talking not fighting...After all the best one always ends up laughing last right....

All i have to say is i feel really bad for the Innocent people who are dying for someone Else's fault and hate for each other.

Of course. Why you think Israel people would be so special that their war with Arabic people would be a sign of the end ?

you've already got your info. 2012 sticks out because the subsequent failed messiah. i imagine Jesus will arrive quickly, yet i'm no longer thoroughly positive it's going to be it's going to be in my lifetime. distinctive the Bible prophecies have occurred, yet we've were given so much better to bypass. And no matter if it truly is quickly, Jesus will take the coolest with Him.
