Why does anybody twist the story to suit themselves? Its human nature man, folktale telling always changes with each telling to serve the needs of the teller. The Bible is just another folktale with a creation myth and demigod like heroes and villains. The folktales of my Viking and Celtic ancestors were just as valid and every bit as immutable as the Bible in their day, and when they were finally written down by Christian missionaries and converts, they were deliberately changed to conform with the new morality. They even admitted they were doing it.

I don't know if misquoted is the right word. While i'll admit I didn't look up all those versus, you need to keep a few things in mind when reading the bible.

1. Many times when two different versus talk about the same thing, but it is worded differently, or has different details etc. You need to keep in mind that the bible was written by MANY different ppl. And even when ppl see the exact same thing, sometimes there takes will be different.

2. The bible has been translated, re translated, and re re translated more times then most of us can count. And if you've ever played the game telephone, you know that things can get changed when passed through the hands of that many ppl. that doesn't mean its totaly wrong, it just got a bit mixed up. I mean if you cut up a picture, then put it back together wrong, does it change the original picture? No, it just looks a bit different.

One thing my dad has told me, that I find actualy pretty useful is when you find a problem in the bible, write it down and keep studying. Often when you gain further knowledge, you will understand the problem, and it won't actually be a discrepency anymore.

Wow, your list is very small! I am guessing you have never personally read the Bible but just stepped on some site that had this list.
I already know what most Christians are going to say "That was the old law and NT is the new law".

But what they forget to tell you is Jesus said "Don't think I have come here to distroy The Law"

You will also find in Matthew when a man approaches Jesus and asks how can he enter the heaven, Jesus tells him to follow the 10 commandment. The guy tries to be an smarty pants and says "I already follow 10 commandments" and Jesus over smarts him and says "then sell all of your blongings and follow me"
In this context you will also see Jesus stopping the person to calling Jesus "good" and tells the man "only good is God (Father)"
