I am not particularly interested here in what other biblical prophets thought. This is a question that is specifically about what Jesus taught.

I dont think Jesus taught of war. He taught to love our brother. No greater love is this, than to give up ones life for our brother. I guess in a round about way that would have been considered protecting our country with soldiers willing to die for us. Jesus loves you.

Jesus did not teach people to go to war. He wanted peace. Just don't listen to those idiots making war in Jesus name.

It is about Life. One is allowed to kill to save a life -- or go to war to save a people.
