Sometimes yes, sometimes no. When I was depressed, I wanted to die very badly and welcomed death. I no longer fear death the way I did before the depression, but I don't welcome it anymore, either. If it comes, it comes. I don't worry about it. I'm comfortable with my life now. I went to the ER recently and was fearful that I was going to die, but found out it wasn't what I thought it was (heart). So I was relieved. Now I'm trying to get things in order and done so that I can rest in peace when the time comes. I think there might be some form of life after death and therefore am not really afraid so much, just a little unsure of what to expect. If there's nothing, then so be it. Doesn't really warrant a lot of worry, does it?

No. I afraid of suffering before I die, and I regret what I will miss after I die, but I'm not afraid of dying as such. It will just be like going under general anaesthetic, but without coming out the other side - i.e. complete oblivion.

That is a good question then I would add another, If we fear to die then how do we expect to meet our creator and have eternal life? For me am not sure whether am afraid or not coz sometimes am afraid some am not.

I think most people do experience some fear of death.
It's even more terrifying to think about living forever in the world as it is right now!! And it's only getting worse!!
I'm afraid of the pain involved. But I am SOO looking forward to what comes next!!

Sure I am, Isn't it natural for a human being to be afraid of dying. In my case I'm afraid of dying because I don't think I've done enough good deeds in this life and can't go to heaven.

Of course I'm afraid to die. I worry about being forgotten.
[Note to icarus62 (see below): I'm afraid of general anesthetic as well, I worry that I won't wake up!]
