If a new religion existed called "splorky" that spread over half the globe, saying that if you didn't believe in it you would go to a place worse then hell, and so would your family and everyone you ever loved, would christians start fearing the new splorky god so much would they convert to splorkyizm? Non-christan responces only please.

Probably not. Christians see other religions much the way atheists see christianity - absurd, and not worth considering.

No, because they're still scared of their own Christian god.

I do agree with you that Christianity is mainly a religion of fear. Definitely. That's why I was a Christian for so long and afraid to leave.

I'm a Christian and I don't believe in hell fire. "Hell" is an old english word meaning "to conceal". Job prayed to be concealed in hell during death.

Hell, therefore, is nothing more than the grave, where are person lies unconcious, sleeping in death. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10* see footnote).
