god isn't ******* real. He is something that human being made up for comfort and answers. When will people learn. It makes sense. The Egyptians had a ton of gods and goddesses because they needed answers like why is there beauty.

1-Blood, 2-frogs, 3-fleas/lice, 4-beasts/flies, 5-pestilence (epidemic that destroyed Egyptian livestock), 6-boils, 7-fiery hail, 8-locusts, 9-darkness (which lasted 3 days), and 10-death of all Egyptian 1st born males.

These are found in Exodus chapters 7-12 (READ ALL OF IT BEFORE YOU MAKE UP STUFF). Now God made all of that happen to show that He meant business. What makes people think He can't do this again, or something worse the next time? God is a powerful God.

Let’s honor the ideal of keeping Church and State separate.
I mean out of schools, out of politics, out of wars out of everything that affect us all. We are obviously not all Christians and even within Christianity there are different sects that don’t see eye to eye so why should we all bow down to your scriptures? Why should so much of our daily life be affected by Christianity?
From what I see here on YA, I sense you wonder about what you feel is the vehemence of Atheism, I think you will find that it is a passion fueled by the irritation at the fact that you feel your ideals are the majority and those who do not subscribe are wrong. The Hypocrisy of religion is the key here and if you read a lot of the Q and A you will see that it keeps coming back to that, here are the rules that you have been given to follow, a manual let’s say and then you do what you wish (human nature) and then you have the convenient “out” of repentance. Not fair! As an Atheist I have to be moral and good because it is my choice, I don’t have the luxury of saying “I am sorry- you are my Lord and Savior, I repent …must have been the devil”
Okay so that said- You are tax exempt (as a self employed person you just don’t know how that chaps my butt!) You have the blessings of your God so again why don’t you leave the rest of us alone?
After the rant clears we are left with…
Church and State separate?
Yes or No

Hypothetically speaking. If you had a son who went around teaching people a belief of love and freedom and someone murdered him using a 9mm pistol for that belief, how would you feel about people going around wearing a gold 9mm pistol on a necklace or a pin?

11 Timothy 3:12 says those who live a godly life will be persected.

My husband and I have been christians long enough to know that not everyone is going to like us or appreciate us because of our faith.

My question is how do I deal with my husbands step father who at times talks down to my husband, feels that what he does is NOT good enough and he always could do "just a little bit more and "do a little better.

Husand does not feel the need to tell him off becuase he feels happy he is married to me and we dont do over to his parents home often because of this. Shawn has the satisfaction that he does what he can for the Lord.

My husbands family looks down on us becuase we don't have a house and money is not the focal point in our marraige and we work hard in our jobs and ministry, yet Shawns stepdad treats hsi sons from his first marraige with "kid gloves" and they can do no wrong.

We are moving far aways soon and I am glad

I keep encountering Christians who try and tell me what the Hebrew Scriptures say, yet they cannot read Hebrew. Doesn't make sense to me. It is like me trying to tell someone who speaks Japanese (which I do not) what their words mean.

I was raised in the Netherlands, I live in Romania now.English is my fourth language.

Yahoo!Answers has no dutch or romanian section. So, i'm stuck to the english version of it. My english is not perfect, i'm very well aware of that.

My english dictionary tells me this:
Spell Check Nazi: A person on Yahoo!Answers who points out bad grammar, but forgets that we are not all native english speakers. Spell Check Nazis are the worst kind of human beings on earth.

Not my definition, it's from my dictionary.

I promissed myself that everytime a Spell Check Nazi crosses my path, and answers my questions with only a remark about spelling or grammar i would do this:

You, Spell Check Nazis are ignorant fools, who are too arogant to appreciate the trouble people take to try and speak english on a World Wide Web.

I would like to apologize for my last sentence, even if i am not even sorry. Will you accept my apology?

(i guess in the next weeks i'll do this a lot of times more)

The word "Trinity" does not exist anywhere in the whole Bible, but it is mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an in the following places:

a. In Surah Nisa chapter 4 verse 171
"Say not 'Trinity': desist:
It will be better for you for
Allah is one God."
[Al-Qur'an 4:171]

b. A similar message is repeated in Surah Maidah chapter 5 verse 73
"They do blaspheme who say
Allah is one of three
In a Trinity: for there is
No god except One God.
If they desist not
From their word (of blasphemy),
Verily a grievous penalty
Will befall the blasphemers
Among them."
[Al-Qur'an 16:125]

Please come to the TRUE WORD OF GOD Qur'an.
Remember
There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last messenger of Allah.

The same person can be a father, a brother and a businessman at the same time.
But suppose the sister of that man tells him a secret, it is but natural that the father and the businessman also will know about it.
Contrary to this, Jesus (pbuh) has said in the Bible, in the Gospel of Mark, chapter 13 verse 32
"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father."
Here the knowledge of the hour is only known to the Father and not to the Son, indicating that God and Jesus (pbuh) Christ are not one and the same person.
A human being can be a father,a brother, and a businessman at the same time, but if the brother dies, even the father
and the businessman will die. Thus, when the Christians say that Jesus (pbuh) died on the cross they will have to agree that
God and the Holy Spirit also died.
Please come 2 the TRUE WORD OF GODcalled Qur'an.
Remember
There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the messenger of Allah

They know that homosexuality is wrong but they tell me to be tolerant and love them and dont judge. I'm not judging, I'm jut not going to sit still with my mouth shut, when I sin I expect someone to call me on it. And what is with gay pastors? How does that work?

I have heard and did read the "Bible" that talks about lust and other vague references that are used to condemn gays and their many loving relationships. In my last two questions I wanted to see if people would pick up on why I think the Christian and even Muslim and perhaps even the Jewish "God" is a hateful, spiteful, vengeful, murderous(he killed many in Sodom and even committed genocide when he supposedly flooded the world), and all around hard to live up to God.But many did not perhaps understand the heart of my question and so I would put forth that there are some things that, yes, are sinful. But if it doesn't hurt anyone and makes you happy and is who you are, why is that a sin?Giggles, the TRUE God, teaches us that the ultimate sin is hate.So why is it that this "other" God is so hateful?

Here's your chance to be philisophical. Answer the question as indepthly as you like

What do I believe but cannot proove?

I believe that this reality as we know is is being constucted daily not by some outside force but by we ourselves. I believe that collectively we are co-creators of this world, this universe and our reality. I believe that truth is subjective and unknowable, because if we knew the end result the expirience wouldn't mater so much. I believe that it doesn't really matter what happens after we leave here for focusing too much on that distracts you from what you are here to expirience right here and now. The moments that we forge togeather,as co-creators of this universe, are the focus of our existence.

I believe but cannot proove that the deity known as God meaning the antthromorphic model that is spoken about in western religons does not exist. That isn't to say that there isn't some form of energy force that created, sustains and connects us all. There is a peice of'god' in everything and everyone. The same energy that created stars and that power your PC is the same energy that sustains your life.

I believe that all religion is man made, and most religions are collections of idea's borrowed from other eariler man made religions. I believe that you can learn more from esoteric expirience than you can from any authored book no matter how many people endorse it. I believe people form religons because they are afraid of being in control. God as described in most western religious thought is nothing more than a childhood imaginary friend.

One of the greatest lies ever created is time. The only thing that exists is the eternal now. I believe but cannot proove that if one was able to take a high enough prespective they could se every event that supposidly happened in chronological order happening all at once. I believe that the game is rigged and no one can lose. The outcome is predetermined it's how we get there that therein the adventure lies, and what an adventure it is.

Finally I believe but cannot proove that there truly is no such thing as evil. Those that we as a society deem as evil are merely misguided souls so drenched in nihlism that they have douped themselves into believing that they are somehow disconnected fromthe All That Is. I believe there will come a day when everyone from Jesus Christ to Hitler will awaken in the full realization of Who I Am

Your turn
