Seems like you have some good answers along with the nut cases. Instead of me telling you that Jesus was crucified, He lay in a tomb for 3 days, He arose in a victory over death and is now in heaven making a place for the ones He will come back for.

You realize that God created the earth and everything in it in six days then He rested on the seventh. Jesus has been preparing a place for His followers in heaven for 2000 years now and we can not even imagine how wonderful it will be. Come soon Dear Jesus.

Jesus loves you.

Jesus was killed, buried in a stone tomb, and conquered death by rising from the tomb after three days. He stayed on the earth for another 40 days and then returned to Heaven. You can visit the actual tomb Christ was buried in Israel today. His body is not here because He is alive.

Both...
He was killed on the cross, and then He was resurrected. After that, He was transfigured and risen into Heaven, just like the Bible says.
We shouldn't have to see His body in order to believe. Besides, why would you want to see it? If God had preserved Jesus's body for all to see (which would be a horrible thing for any father to do), would you honestly want to see what people did to Him, all the scars and wounded and torn flesh? To see the evidence of what really happened to Him that day on the cross? Personally, I think it would be too horrible for anyone to see...it would probably give anyone who did see it nightmares for the rest of their lives. Imagine what the people who were actually there when it happened saw. I can't, and I don't want to.
Besides, His sacrifice had to be in two parts. He died so that we could accept His gift (through our spiritual death--dying to our sins). Then He had to be resurrected so that we could too (spiritual rebirth--becoming clean once again as a follower of Christ) and be resurrected into Heaven upon our death or transfiguration.

Jesus gave up His life to pay a price for our sins. On the 3rd day he rose & is risen that is why there is no body. He is the Son of God, He unlike us does not have to leave human remains behind. If people were able to see his corpse today do you think it would make them believers. I would say not, simply because God use to speak to people plainly just as you would another person & the people still didn't believe.

He was fully man and was killed.
He was buried in a tomb owned by Joseph of Arimethia.
He was risen on the third day, has ascended, and sits on the right hand of the Father.

Acts 2:33 (NLT) Now he sits on the throne of highest honor in heaven, at God's right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today.

Read the first few chapters of the New Testament or watch Mel Gibson's version of the story. He was killed, and his body entombed, but he rose again and ascended to heaven. Some people believe the shroud of Turin is the earthly proof as the imprint of his dead body.

Jesus was crucified and died on the cross... was burried in a tomb and rose from the dead on the 3rd day. He walked the Earth for another 40 days and appeared to thousands of people and in the presence of them, He was rasied up to Heaven and seated at the right hand of the Father.

He was put on a cross that is true. But in the bible it says he then said it is done,Bowed his head, Gave up his spirit (by choice) Came back after three dayse then was lifted up to heaven body and all. His side(before he rose) was peirced by a roman soldiers knife because it was almost a holy day and they didn't want to wait for him to die. The trick was on him though because Jesus gave up his spirit.
If you want to talk about this more or have any other ?s,,I would love to talk to you and get to know what you think about the bible and other things. Email me at katlynnbrown@yahoo.com
Hope I was able to help you.

Not meaning to be rude, but have you ever read the Bible? He was killed by the bastards trying to get rid of him because he needed to die for our sins. Then after three days, God resurrected him and he went to heaven. And do you know what the other religions would do to his body if it was preserved here? There would be no body because they would destroy it.

"Now I make accepted to you, brethren the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, in which also you're kept, in case you carry quickly the word which I (the Apostle Paul) preached to you, until eventually you believed in ineffective. For I presented to you as of first value what I also received, that Christ died for our sins, in accordance to the Scriptures, and that He became buried, and that He became raised on the 0.33 day in accordance to the Scriptures." (I Corinthians 15:a million-4) "This Jesus God has raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this that you both see and hear" (Peter speaking, Acts 2:32,33 - concerning the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost) "yet even although we, or an angel from heaven ought to carry forth to you a gospel opposite to that which we've preached to you, enable HIM BE ACCURSED, (Paul, in his letter to the Galatians, financial ruin a million, verse 8)
