Well, that is nice that you believe that, but the problem is you are insulting billions of people's personal beliefs, not the religion. When will you learn to just accept that we can't change you, and with statements like this, you certainly aren't going to change us. In fact, all you are doing is asking to get your face punched by people sick of you FU!@ING Athiests bashing what is our personal beliefs which is a personal insult to us. I hope you ******* die and learn that everything you believe is wrong.

I'm not really sure how to answer, because I didn't see a question. I'll give you my opinion instead. People can believe what they want to believe as long as it doesn't include the belief that they should harm others. If someone wants to believe in the Christian God, then you should let them. It is their choice, and they should be able to find some happiness and relief in something. If that is what gives them comfort, then by all means they should go on believing that. People with other beliefs should also be able to think what they think without being ridiculed. You should not be put down for not believing in a god or gods, but you shouldn't put down others because they do.

Hey, you are entitled to your opinion and I defend your right to express those viewpoints.

Personally, I disagree.
I believe that there is only one supreme being...something (not necessarily "someone") who created all life, all events, all matter.

You are correct that the Egyptians had multiple gods - even today, people need to see, feel, hear (or other sensory effects) some kind of god or gods.
I pity them, as they lack faith in the intangible.

I can live just fine without having to see God, hear God or feel God, in the temporal sense.
What I cannot live without is a sense that there is something more awaiting me and you, something bigger than me and you, some purpose for life.
I don't need proof...I can live by faith alone.
I have faith that I can breathe the air without dying.
I have faith that the sun will shine, the moon cause the tides to rise.
I have faith that despite all the evil in this world, there are still many people who will lend a hand to help.

I also have faith that someday, you'll have a child, look into his/her eyes, and realize that something created life in this being.

I think those first 3 lines were what I said yesterday...I think that you are right. I would really like to meet someone who has an explaination as to there actually being a "god". Never did anything to or for me. The belief in "god" is for the weak. It's for people that have loses in life who need something to believe in hoping that the person is in a better place. well, yea they are in a better place 6 ft under and that is it....better than having to live in the society we live in now.

you are not correct. humans are something the creative intelligence which brought about our physical universe made up, not the other way around.

science is currently postulating that our "reality" is made up of more than 10 dimensions - possibly up to 21 or more - rather than the original 3 or 4 that we are familiar with from every day life.

is it so hard to believe that we are existing in those other dimensions as well and the 3 spacial and one temporal dimension we're usually aware of is only the tip of the iceberg?

Psalms 14:1The senseless one has said in his heart: “There is no Jehovah.”

Psalm 10:4 The wicked one according to his superciliousness makes no search; All his ideas are: “There is no God.”

Psalm 53:1 The senseless one has said in his heart: “There is no Jehovah.” They have acted ruinously and have acted detestably in unrighteousness; There is no one doing good.

Isaiah 29:16 The perversity of YOU men! Should the potter himself be accounted just like the clay? For should the thing made say respecting its maker: “He did not make me”? And does the very thing formed actually say respecting its former: “He showed no understanding”?

Jas:4:1: From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
Jas:4:2: Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
Jas:4:3: Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Jas:4:4: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Jas:4:5: Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
Jas:4:6: But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Jas:4:7: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Jas:4:8: Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Jas:4:9: Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Jas:4:10: Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Jas:4:11: Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
Jas:4:12: There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
Jas:4:13: Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
Jas:4:14: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
Jas:4:15: For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
Jas:4:16: But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
Jas:4:17: Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
GOD LOVES YOU

I'm sorry for you. You sound angry and bitter.

I believe in God completely. Of course, logically, there's no way to prove or disprove His existence. But I know I couldn't have made it thru some of the things I've experienced in my life without God's help.

I'm praying for you.
