The Bible says love is Patient but people arent.

If you are not like veryone else people tend to be mean and nasty.

I am tired of either reasoning with these people or balntlay telling them off.

I have to deal with people on a daily basis.

I want to do the right godly thing.

You know, sometimes this kind of question pops into your head and the only treatment is to wonder. For those of you that are unsure of who the Antichrist is, he is considered to be the son of Satan and is supposed to take over the world and destroy it, causing Doom's Day. This kind of responsibility would involve beguiling, so wouldn't you think that he would have to be charming but still normal looking? Still, he is the son of Satan and a Demon, so shouldn't he have some sort of disgusting flaw? What do you think? That is, if you believe in the Antichrist.

Most Christians have yet to read the ENTIRE Bible! They can memorize a quote or two but that's about it! Is this book not interesting? Are you unable to get into it? Does it capture your attention? Obviously not!!

why not, shouldn't we at least consider them semi-devine according to christian tradition? and what about aphids that turn plant material into sugar and feed a multitude of ants.

I read in some newspapers about the American Hiroshima, that is
the terrorists managed to ship 85 suitcase nukes inside mainland
USA. 50 of them will be denotated in 50 major US cities simulataneously and 35 will be used for further blackmailing.
It implies that within half an hour America will be reduced to a 7th world country with further threats of 35 nukes. That implies that for any single retaliation from US will cause 1 nuke to be detonated(from the additional 35 nukes). Do you think Osama is taking lots of time to device an attack in such a way that will cripple
USA to retaliate?

This is a hypothetical situation looking for some interesting discussion. Being Wiccan, I see nothing wrong with premarital sex. However, I once thought about the situation where a person was having premarital sex with the person he/she planned to marry. Then he/she became a born-again Christian. Wouldn't he/she then be required to cease having premarital sex? Next, let's assume such a decision to alter both religion and sexual practices (two big issues when it comes to marriage, no doubt) causes the partner to leave him/her. We are left with a person who is no longer sexually/physically satisfied and is alone and also no longer emotionally satisfied. Would this really be what God wanted for them? To be alone, depressed, and rejected? I have wondered about this situation often, since I sometimes feel (and yes, this is my opinion) that at times, Christianity causes sorrow and suffering for it's adherents.

They both are humanistic in beleif, neither group seems to do any educated research before opening their stink holes, and your paganistic beleif system is still breeding hate!!Aethists you say you live by morals and ethics, where do these come from?? Christians you claim to follow the messiah, lets see he kept all the laws and taught peace, how many can claim they are doing that???All I'm saying is for two groups of people who have so many things in common, they should probably get along. Maybe the aetheists can give me some sort of equation why this is??, Or maybe the christians can tell me where in scripture it says to breed hate amongst people who wont follow blindly into a religion that has obviously failed mankind, since it was made by mankind just like the aetheist point of view......... I guess that both are tentative!!!

How could Jesus have had any doubts about dear old dad? Was there any answer to his question or did things just go downhill from there? I admit I refused to see Mel Gibson's little horror movie, and I'm no Bible scholar, but I am still curious to hear any answers to this question.

I saw this on someone else's question: (Yes, I'm cutting and pasting and not all of it because it too long sue me williamzo.):
The word "omnipotent" is never used in the Bible, but has been inferred primarily by one of God's Hebrew titles, "Shadday," which is most often translated "almighty."1 However, the Bible never claims that God can do all things.
God cannot do anything that is contrary to His holy character. However, God can do anything that He determines to do. (Nice contradiction there.)
Saying that omnipotence requires the ability to do logically impossible things is stupid. God cannot turn truth into a lie. If humans define a triangle as a two dimensional object formed by the intersection of three lines, it makes no sense to ask if God could make one that was spherical. When one says that God is all-powerful, one means that God is able to accomplish all that He desires to do. Even an all-powerful being cannot do what is impossible by definition
