there is at least one, since Jesus will descend with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God. The only one I see named is Michael in Jude.
You also have to consider both Michael and Jesus are named in the same chapter in Jude and Revelation, no connection is made between them and I do not think it is contrary to the Jehovah Witness claim that Jesus = Michael I do not see how this can be true. Michael would not dispute with Satan, Jesus did.
Michael in Daniel is said to be one of the chief princes probably implying there are more than one archangel. Jesus isnt a 'one of' a type of angels, Jesus is a one of a kind a one an only begotten
If the archangel or archangels are coming with Jesus when He returns I think it implies some sort of victory cry and also that all the angels are coming with.
arche can mean first in time and can mean the chief or head
an archangel sounds like a leading angel, I think some might say
Gabriel Michael and Lucifer (since some argue a third of angels fell since the dragon swept a third of the stars form the sky but you cant be too certain and this is interpretive)

The word Archangel is only used 2 times in the Bible. In 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and Jude 9. Only one named is Michael.

No one is for sure, but only one is named as an archangel: Michael. Some think gabriel is too, but he is merely listed as an important angel, not an archangel.

There is no known indication of a total number of Archangels. I only know of three (1) Gabriel (2) Michael (3) Raphael..., there are a couple others mentioned by Enoch, but cant recall their names.
ArchAngels are commanders of large numbers of angels.., its a rank.

We won't know until we see God. Just because a few are mentioned in the Bible, doesn't mean that is all there are, those are just the ones directly related to the human relationship with God the Father. Otherwise, go to www.blueletterbible.org and search "archangel".

You might want to consider looking within for your answers since the human personality often errs in trying to answer such a question. Try the source below as a starting point....
