All observable phenomenon can be explained by the known laws of science or by unknown laws of science yet to be discovered. There are no mysteries, only things beyond the present level of our scientific knowledge.

They are off totally from the other. What does that mean? Also when reading palms which one is the one in my case that I'm supposed to read the right or the left? What does the right hand represent and what does the left hand represent?

Meaning, do you live by your religion's rules, is your faith an active part of your life - or just something you do on holidays or a couple times a month?

I thought that religions were basically ideas about what happens when you die. Does that mean that all americans have to be christians and can't decide what religion to choose? ?

How is it that we in the west are intolerant when we make sure through legal channels that other religions are accepted and or tolerated? BUT...you will not find the same or even a hint of tolerance in the Muslim religion. All infidels must die? I don't think that shows any tolerance at all. I agree that Christians have shown their intolerance in the past in many of the same ways. I think that is pretty much over now. What happened to you guys? Why is it you have to kill people who don't think like you? Can you help me wit this pretty basic question?

My gift is encouragement in the form of mercy.

But lately it seems I have been defending the truth and reading the word more, being very direct and hard hitting from the Word of God.

Is it possible I may have the gift of being a prophet ?meaning I am not afraid to tell the truth or stand on the word of God and I find myself getting stronger and be able to counsel others as well.

How can I get spiritual confirmation about this?

Civil wars, terrorism, violent preaching, talk of infedels, denial of human rights, denial of women's rights. Why not remove the leaders of hate, and push for peace, tollerance, and human rights?

(above also applies for americans supporting US regime)

More importantly, I would like to share with you the Truth about the afterlife. I only tell you this because I care what will happen to you when you die. Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything, used God’s name in vain? These are just a few of God’s Moral Laws. When you die, God will judge you on the basis of His Moral Law. If you stand guilty before God of breaking His Laws, He will send you to Hell. If God is Just and Holy, He must punish lawbreakers. The good news is that God provided a way for you to be forgiven and go to Heaven. Jesus Christ died on a cross and rose again to pay the debt for your sins and take your punishment. What you must do is Repent, which means to say you are sorry to God and turn away from your sins. Then put your complete Trust in Jesus Christ. Only then will you be accepted into Heaven, not because you’re a good person, but because you’re a bad person who’s been forgiven. Please give this some thought. Your Eternal Destination depends on it.

First things first, I'm not Christian, I'm Wiccan, but I like discussing religious topics. Secondly, I want honest answers, even if you feel that you "made the wrong decision." Now, to elaborate...

Have you ever had a point in your life where you felt that deep down, in your hearts of hearts, you knew what you truly felt necessary for your soul, however... it was in conflict with what you perceived to be God's rule/law/desires and/or texts in the the Bible? What was the issue and ultimately, did you follow your heart, or follow the Bible/what God wanted? What was the outcome and how did your choice (either way) make you feel?

I mean, if I asked "When will doppity doo doo be back?" some goofy folks would report me. If I were to ask when jesus is coming back, fifty people would rush to answer. I mean come on...fiction is fiction! I also like how I can't go to a web page about chess while at work, but I could read thousands upon thousands of pages about christian mythology!

I just recetnly read that the cross of christ may have overcome evil but it did not overcome unfairness. Philip Yancey.

But I have gotten resentful that life can be very unfair and there is indeed a lot of favoritsm even in families and ministries.

What can I do to admit this accpt this and choose to be happy anyway? How can I be fair and objective with others?

There is an addage to bloom where you are planted but I have been so uprooted in my life I find it much easier to crack jokes and wise off and make people laugh then to be gentle loving and kind. I want to learn to "turn down the volume" and tune in to the Lord adn be a better listener.

I love my religion and going to church and I also enjoy hearing about other religions...As a Christian I enjoy hearing and learning about Judaism because it is the root of my own beliefs and the beginning of my bible. I also believe that, based on my own personal readings, that the Torah and the Koran possibly shared roots as well leading me to believe that Allah is the same God as the one I believe in...

I use this product to learn and expand myself in all areas. I'm wondering if anyone else has learned anything supprising about the world and other's beliefs? Do you think that some people just use Answers as a way to bellow their ideas without even considering new things? Is the normal "debate" (most usually a screaming match) healthy interaction? How can we foster understanding and learning here?

(I know that's a lot of points but I want to see what ya'll think...Really feel out Answer's usage and how we are using this to develop spirutually and psychologically...Thanks)

Was Jesus omnicent and omnipotent before Crucifiction?
33 years of life. INteresting point that bible tells us all kind of stories but for the Most important person ( according to bible and Christianity) bible says nothing about his life. 33 years of unknown except few events here and there and few miracles.
Was Jesus life important before crucifiction?
There was gospel of TOmas ( infancy of Jesus) but in 4th century human bishops refused it to put in bible. Any wander why?
