I mean, if I asked "When will doppity doo doo be back?" some goofy folks would report me. If I were to ask when jesus is coming back, fifty people would rush to answer. I mean come on...fiction is fiction! I also like how I can't go to a web page about chess while at work, but I could read thousands upon thousands of pages about christian mythology!

I think some of you missed my point...my question (and it IS a question) is why is it deemed "OK" to read religious websites all day at work and its NOT OK for me to play chess? they are both waste time equally, so why should one be allowed and the other not?

First of all, it's called the Bill of Rights, you know, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, that sort of thing.
Secondly, how are you going to claim that an actual person history proves existed, written about by historians, etc., doesn't exist? I mean, there were thousands of witnesses to this person's death, ressurection and ascension into heaven.
There's more proof of the existence of Jesus than there is for Plato, Socretes or Aristotle, but nobody doubts their existence; why is that?
At least be honest; you're just a Jesus hater. It's not that you don't believe He existed; it's just that you can't stand that fact that He does. Case in point? If someone said that Santa Clause was real, you wouldn't get in a lather over it, because you know it's not true. The fact that you DO get into a lather over Jesus shows point blank that your underlying motive is that you KNOW He exists and yet you hate Him anyway.

well you have a point, but that doesnt mean they should be reported. religion does remind me of a paraphrase from 1984, insanity is being a minority of one, or in this case a minority of 8 or 10%. it is pretty ridiculous that the vast majority believes in something that is so outlandish and with no basis in facts. i think doppity doo doo is comin back on monday.

If you read the rules and guidelines of YA then you would see that religion is not a topic that can be reported. They even have this religion catagory! So, if they have the catagory of religion, then how in the world can they allow anyone to report?? Just because you don't believe in something, doesn't mean you can report it!

Psalms 14:1The senseless one has said in his heart: “There is no Jehovah.”
Psalm 10:4 The wicked one according to his superciliousness makes no search; All his ideas are: “There is no God.”
Psalm 53:1 The senseless one has said in his heart: “There is no Jehovah.” They have acted ruinously and have acted detestably in unrighteousness; There is no one doing good.
Isaiah 29:16 The perversity of YOU men! Should the potter himself be accounted just like the clay? For should the thing made say respecting its maker: “He did not make me”? And does the very thing formed actually say respecting its former: “He showed no understanding”?

Because God is trying to reach you and so far God has won. You are here and engaged.
Let it out, when you are done, worn out and tired God will still be there and you will be open to recieve.
Until then take comfort in the fact that God loves you so much that you are being annoyed daily.

they don't get reported because they don't say anything thats demeaning to anyone, including atheists. we don't call people by names that are insulting. you say mythology, which is your view, i say truth which is my view. remember, we are living in america and that gives us freedom of speech. even if its hurtful to a whole group of people. take for example, do you agree with the kkk or other so called hate groups.
