Do you love Satan?

answer to mywifeisbett...:
Did Jesus said that you should love a sinner only if he/she is a person??? Where in the NT you found that? Satan is a being. If you don't love this being who is your enemy you are not following Jesus.

So why do you hate Satan? When Jesus told love the sin and hate the sinner--he didn't exclude Satan.Let's say that Satan is the author of all lies--but his act is also a sin--even if he introduces sin that act is a sin also not a virtue. So, why do you hate Satan
but not just hate his sin? Answer you Christian fool.

I love the sinner... as God loves the sinner.
In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus said that though our natural instinct is to hate our enemies, we should love them... because He loves them. When Jesus ascended back to heaven he told his disciples to love as He loved... so I will love a person even though they commit a sin that I hate.
I have sinned, too, so how can I hate a person who sins. If I did I would be hating myself.
I do not love Satan. That is a silly question. He's not a person. He exists and is very real, but he's not a person... not a human being.

We are supposed to hate the SIN and love the SINNER. Sinners are redeemable, but sin can have no communion with Heaven. Satan is impossible to love for he is the father of all lies. Lies are a big part of what condemns us to Hell.

I hate the sin, including my own.

I do not Love Satan, as I am not told that I have to. Satan is set apart and called the father of all lies. His punishment has been set and even he cannot change it.

We live in the age of Grace, and as far as mankind goes, I love the person (very difficult sometimes) and I hate the sin of the person.

The Bible tells us to love even our enemies, so why would we hate the sinners? It is the sin that we wish were gone.
