33 years of life. INteresting point that bible tells us all kind of stories but for the Most important person ( according to bible and Christianity) bible says nothing about his life. 33 years of unknown except few events here and there and few miracles.
Was Jesus life important before crucifiction?
There was gospel of TOmas ( infancy of Jesus) but in 4th century human bishops refused it to put in bible. Any wander why?

MANY gospels were not included in the Bible. The question WHY is what we really all want to know.

Anyone who really READS Acts, and then does a bit of historical research, will know much of Christianity (as it's current incarnation) is fiction.

Christianity is a derivative of Judaism. Unfortunately, today's Christians do not folllow the words of Christ (a Jew), but of Paul (a Jew BORN into Roman citizenry and a Roman soldier once responsible for persecuting Jews and Judeo-Christians) who usurped the religion from the original apostles....and changed it.

In gaining converts to Christianity, he was in a self-made competition with the original apostles in Jerusalem. Although the apostles LIVED with Jesus, he claimed his knowledge was directly inspired by Jesus (though never having met him other than in a 'vision'), and that their so-called 'expertise' was only self-proclaimed. Unfortunately, outside of Jerusalem, he was believed.

He prevailed, and the majority of the original Judeo-Christians perished in the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in 79 AD.

Same God, just a different idea on how to worship Him.

Oh, and for you fellow Christians out there who like to beat on Jews for the death of Christ, you obviously don't know the religious social structure of that time. The 'Jews' who sold him out were the Pharisees: ROMAN-appointed religious leaders who were to keep order (for the Romans), or face death. Most were not even religiously trained, and were viewed as sell-outs by the common Jew, who would spit on them in public.

Most Christians fail to accept the FACT that JESUS WAS A JEW....not a Christian.

I have always wondered why. I am not familiar enough with the gnostic gospels to say. As far as the bishops not including it, I've heard that they felt a lot of it was made up. But who's to say. I know the Protestant Bible has fewer books in it than the Catholic Bible. Now, as far as Jesus being omniscient and omnipotent before the Crucifixion I would have to say yes. Think of all the miracles He performed. He knew Peter would deny Him three times. He did more than that but that's all I can think of at the moment.

Good question(s). Yes, He was omniscient and omnipotent before crucifiction. The focus of Scripture is not necessarily of his life during His 33 years as a man, but of what He accomplished ON THE CROSS where we receive our greatest benefit. The Gospel of Thomas is found to be spurrious and rejected by church fathers when compared to other writings and historical accounts. There are four criteria to be met before any writings can be deemed inspired and authentic by the church.

Jesus is fully God, meaning yes he was, but also fully man, meaning he lived his life as a man. the gospel of thomas wasn't accepted because it didn't "fit" with the rest of the Bible, not because we chose that it didn't, because it wasn't devine. I could write a gospel, but it's not going into the Bible, depending how it's written, if I just write it, it means nothing. it could be inspired though. There is nothing written on the early life of Jesus that is a devine revealation other than what's in the Bible already...ie- His birth, and when he taught the priests in the temple. There is nothing written on the childhood of Jonah or Job, does that mean their stories are not important? No. Is it going to change your opinion to know when Jesus said his first word, or when he learned to read and write? No.

If you really want to read about Christ's childhood, the book of Luke is your best bet. Much of the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) is centered around the last year (and specifically the last week) of His life before crucifixion.

Why?

John said, "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." (John 20:31)

There were many "gospels" written that are of no inspiration. If you'll work with the Bible you've been given, it'll meet your need.

I wonder why a lot - I have spoken to many theologians; I think the truth is Jesus learned as he was growing who he was and his purpose on earth. I do not think at the age of 6 month, 2 yrs or even 5yrs he was able to understand it all. Although there is a passage of when he was a young teenager (maybe 11 or 12) where his mother & father found him in the temple preaching to the high priest and the others there to worship.

I do not know why they don't want us to realize this, but Jesus was born Human - not all knowing. That is why he prayed to The Lord for much help, I think after his Baptizim he began to know much more clearly what his purpose on earth was and what he needed to do as the son of God.

Yes he was omniscient and omnipotent before crucifixion . He is the Son of the Most High Father. This made Him so.There was a lot of facts that was lost through translations. If you stop and think about it people knew Him before His ministry started and His apostles went with Him. He gathered apostles because His life on earth as a human was to end. He needed the Gospel spread and He knew He was going to be crucified. One last thing I also believe He rose again and His body is with Him.

Jesus's life has always been important, He is God. That is probably why you didn't get an answer. The First thing that John tells you is Jesus was always, He was there at the creation, and He will be there at the end. He is the alpha and omega.. Jesus has always been. He gave up His glory and splendor to come to earth to save us. he could have stopped at any time, but He didn't. He knew the rooster was going to crow right after Peter denied Him three times. Since He is God the son, I believe He has always been omnipotent and He omnipresent.

there is no such ingredient as an "orthodox atheist". If i believe that God is a manufactured from the human mind's eye, it is completely life like to judge it to the enamel fairy or Santa. The substances from the large Bang did no longer ought to come back from everywhere. they could have always existed. you're better than waiting to declare that God has always existed, yet for some reason no longer the universe. it truly is a particular pleading fallacy. you do not address the issue of countless regression, You declare each and everything has a author(unfounded, unsupported assumption) yet then also ignore concerning the undeniable reality that meaning God ought to truly have a author. Who created God? in case you declare God doesn't pick a author, you're committing a particular pleading fallacy back. Oh, and eggs got here first. We already understand that. it isn't any longer a secret. anyhow, that became interesting, yet i'm bored now. Ta-tah.

Many speculations as to what Jesus did during his teen years into his twenties. The bible is a peculiar text because this is no the only thing that is missing. Where did Cain and Able find wives, for instance.
Many Speculate that Jesus may have wondered around, no more that a beggar. Some think that his used this time to find ways to stage miricles. Believe what you must, we have no idea.
