Excellent question.
Yes, I believe there is a devil. He's not a pitchfork-carrying demon, but he does exist. Some people believe non-Christians are influenced by Satan, that's why they try to save you all the time. I believe God gave us all the ability and the right to make our own decisions. The devil very rarely has anything to do with it.
Good point about the KKK. I think it's funny that some of the other answers have pointed out that the KKK twisted theology to suit their purpose. Hmmmm... do any other "Christian" groups do that?? Could that be why non-Christians get so annoyed by Christians?? Christianity, at its core, is not meant to brainwash anyone. But unfortunately, some have used it for that purpose. Hello... David Koresh. There are few things more dangerous than a religious fanatic.
I don't think atheists are heathens. Most of the atheists I know are good people who simply don't believe in God. I have atheist friends who are more genuine, truthful, charitable, and kind than any Christian I've ever met. I don't think I'm any better because I'm a Christian. In the end, we'll all know the truth and I truly believe we'll ALL be surprised. Remember, God has a sense of humor.

It sucks that you have to generalize when talking about the Christian religion. You seem to be more critical than any Christian that I've encountered in life. You sound like a teenager. Teenagers think that they know everything. I’m a teenager, and I’m slowly figuring out that there’s a lot that I don’t know. I can tell that you’re right there with me.
If you don't understand the religion, why don't you find the answers for yourself instead of fishing for answers that you may not agree with anyway?
The KKK claim to be Christians. They aren't real Christians because they hate instead of love and that's a major thread from start to finish in the Bible. (By the way, the Bible is not a logical text. Some things you shouldn’t take literally. It’s all about understanding it really)
Christians are sinners too. They can’t judge you. Nobody can (Christian or not).
I don't think that Atheists are heathens. They're people just like everyone else in the world, however a lot Atheists that I encounter can't talk about religion without complaining about how Christians are always judging them. Then they turn around and do the same thing. Huge double standard in society don't you think?
It's the equivalent of being racist to me. Racists judge a certain group of people because they don't know much about them (Ignorance).
Christianity is a type of culture.
If you discriminate against Christians, you're every bit as bad as the KKK.
If you're an Atheist, maybe you should think about that.
I wouldn’t want for any Christian to portray the Christian religion in a hateful manner. And if that’s happened to you, that’s very unfortunate.
Are you portraying the Atheist religion as you would like other people to see? If not, maybe you should revise the way you want people, Christians or not, to see you. Just because a few people have come across the wrong way to you, doesn’t mean that all of them do. Because of this question, I could say that ALL Atheists are judgmental and critical of people who believe in God.
However, I don’t believe that.
Nobody can judge you.

>>>Christians, do you all believe that there is a devil? Or is he just everyone who doesn't agree with your religion.<<<
Yes, there is a devil.
No, the devil is not people who don't agree with Christianity.
>>>Also, I bet you probably knew that the KKK were all Christians. How does that make you feel?<<<
Take a look at my avatar. That's me. Do I look like someone who would give the KKK the time of day?
By the way, the KKK would have two reasons to not like me very much -- because of my skin color, and because I'm Catholic.
I'm sure you knew that they were just as much an anti-Catholic group as an anti-black or anti-Jewish one.
So, I would very much appreciate it if you stopped lumping all Christians in with the KKK.
It only makes you look like a prejudiced *** who judges an entire group of people based on the actions of a few bad apples.
All groups have bad apples in their ranks -- does this mean that every group out there is to be discredited and defamed, as you have done with those who believe in Christ?

I believe in the devil, and all his buddies that got thrown out of heaven with him.
So what if the KKK called themselves Christians? The KKK were morons, and judging all Christians through them is like judging all white people through Cortez when he invaded the Aztecs (I do have that right, the Aztecs?). All whites would be considered scumbags (some people think we are, but whatever).
And no, I don't believe atheists are heathens, you would only be a heathen if you truly knew God's word and still chose to turn against him. That's my opinion.

I believe in Satan yes - I do not believe in hate even those who hate me and what I believe if anything I love them more. If the KKK said they were christians and behaved like they did then I would not see them as a christian. as for all of them no there you are wrong I have had uncles that belonged and they were not christians nor did they pretend to be. I simple fact is a christain is not a christain just because he lays claim. I can say I am a truck driver even though I am not does not make me a truck driver. By your question and how you seem to see things in a closed minded sort of way sounds like you have a lot of hate inside you over christians. Surely You are not so narrow minded to believe every christian is bad. I have no problem at all with people living their life how they choose I do not push my views on anyone. I do not bash others or belittle them for what they believe in. I have never hurt a soul and I have helped out in every way I am able in promoting peace and love around the world. I respect everyone and even you. Now tell me are all christains bad people?

Yes I believe there is a devil. It does not bother me that the KKK are Christians. The only person I have to answer for is myself. I do not think atheists are a bunch of heathens. Anymore questions, Oprah??? lol

That is a bunch of disjointed questions. Let me tell you about the KKK and religion. Those in the North came down to establish churches in the South, where slaves ideally could be a part (since they were no longer slaves!). However, the Southern culture (not Christianity), took over these churches and the KKK/Christian link was born. To pretend that white supremacy and Christianity are inextricably linked is anti-intellectualism; Jesus was not white He was a Jew!

Yes. There is a devil. He was once the greatest of the angels until he became too prideful and rebelled against God.
The KKKs actions are contrary to what the Bible teaches.
You are not just heathens. You are people. Admittly, you have failed to grasp the truth, but you are human beings just like christians who deserve love and respect as much as the next person.

Jesus believed in Satan so it would be odd for a follower of Jesus not to... no?
On some of your other issues... the KKK are culturally Christians and many not real ones... people make all kinds of mistakes but I would think a Christian following the grand wizard instead of Jesus is rather messed up
many people are culturally Christians but do not follow Christ
Jesus said that many would say they did miracles and stuff in His name but He will have to say I never knew you at the judgment and some of the KKK will have no monopoly on that problem.

The KKK had nothing to do with Christianity. They were just a group of idiots that used theology as a way to do what they wanted and to sway the ignorant into believing them. None of them could have been God fearing Christians otherwise they would not have ever done that. And yes there is a devil or satan. You cannont have good without evil, black without white, Yin and Yang.....There is bad in every good person and there is good in every bad person.
