Sometimes I do think that there might be some error in what we were taught about the tribulation times... and before then...
Like, what if the rapture doesn't happen before then? I mean there were many martyrs accross the centuries and the Bible does say that we are to expect the world to treat us like they treated Jesus`.. so what if we're supposed to suffer for our faith? Really, Christians today don't know what that means. I grew up in a communist country and had come pretty close to be killed because of my beliefs, but lately, in USA... people applaud you if you're a Christian..
So that's the context in which I think I will miss the rapture, for the reason of suffering.... or that the rapture will take place after a great deal of trouble...

So now that I actually wrote that down I am not sure this is correct... oh, well. - for what's worth

The possibility of Jesus coming.... I cannot say that he will or won't. I'm not one to say that something's not correct without having valid proof presented to me. If what they say is true and he does, I will probably be left behind. I was a Buddhist for quite some time. I don't do wrong in any way. I just don't have a religiously-based belief system. Yet, I'm not an atheist. Still, I will probably be left behind.

No.
Never.
Well, okay, once...a long time ago.

Then I realized that Jesus wasn't the messiah...he was a minor Jewish prophet.
And I don't believe that God will whisk us all away, much like the rapture that is described by so many Christians.

So - why is it that so many Christians can't wait for the rapture?
What's wrong with living in the here-and-now, helping your neighbor and trying to improve the world?

Yes I wonder and hope it's not soon. I want to see my kids grow up. I also wonder if I'll be one left behind. I know I need to make some changes if I don't want to be

One of my Jesus freak friends told me Jesus was coming. I told him that's fine but he's going to have to sleep on the couch because my inlaws are in the guest room. The "GO_TO_GIRL" raises a good point. What if this is hell.

Yes, I've had a bad dream about 3 or 4yrs old ago that I had my baby in the crib and My Husband was a sleep. I was sleep too and I was woke up in the the dream and they were gone! It was a nightmare. I have changed my whole look on life for as Christ. I am in serious preparation. I Thank God for the warning.

Shalom

I haven't given it much thought. I'm pretty happy right here but a road trip would be kind of cool. I wonder if Jesus drives? That would be great!

No but if it were to happen I'd know I'd be left behind because I believe Jesus was a regular man with a good idea. I don't believe he was the son of god because I don't believe in god.
