any organization that requires you to be part of a certian group before you are admitted into the organization usually is oart of that certain group.

allow me to clarify.

in the KKK one ofthe requirements to join is that you be a christian. therefore it is safe to say thatthe KKK is a christian based organization. correct?

if youre going to say that anyone who is in the KKK is not a christian i have this response for you: who are you to determine wethersomeone IS or IS NOT what they claim to be? you do not determine the beleifs and affiliations of others

If you are not a Christian and you do not believe in God, then why do people spend so much time and energy trying to prove it to be false? If you don't believe in it then why worry about it?
Or is it because they are fighting with God and have to try to prove it to be false in order to feel better about not serving him?
Just wondering.

I've been with my boyfriend now since 1999. We're going on our 7 year anniversary coming up. We get along so well, and we love each other. He always tells me he loves me, and I him.

I'm just confused how we've been together so long and he still hasn't asked me to marry him. Do you think I should ask him?!

We go to a chuch we recently found together and everyone there is great. He loves God and I do too. We've had a dog together for quite some time, so I'm sure that he'd be great with a little baby running around!

Our parents get along well, and all of our friends. It's like we are a big family already, so I don't think it would be weird to ask him. I just had always expected him to be the one to ask.

What do you think I should do?

As per the genealogy of Jesus Christ given in the Bible, from Jesus through Abraham (pbuh) to the first man on earth i.e. Adam (pbuh), Adam appeared on the earth approximately 5800 years ago:

1948 years between Adam (pbuh) and Abraham (pbuh)
Approximately 1800 years between Abraham (pbuh) and Jesus (pbuh) 2000 years from Jesus (pbuh) till today
These figures are further confused by the fact that the Jewish calendar is currently on or about 5800 years old.

There is sufficient evidence from archaeological and anthropological sources to suggest that the first human being on earth was present tens of thousands of years ago and not merely 5,800 years ago as is suggested by the Bible.

The Qur’an too speaks about Adam (pbuh) as the first man on earth but it does not suggest any date or period of his life on earth, unlike the Bible - what the Bible says in this regard is totally incompatible with science.

Let's say you're asoldier who is also a believer, and you get wounded in battle. Who do you want your fellow soldiers to call first, the religion rep, or the medic? Would you want to be brought to a church where thousands could pray over you having faith that if it is god's will you will survive. Would you want to be brought to a hospital where doctors could use their knowledge and tools to help you survive? For the sake of this question, you can not choose both.

According to the Bible both the sun and the moon emit their own light. In the Book of Genesis, chapter 1, verse 16 says, "And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night".

Science tells us today that the moon does not have its own light. This confirms the Qur’anic concept that the light of the moon is a reflected light. To think that 1400 years ago, Prophet Muhummad (pbuh) corrected these scientific errors in the Bible and then copied such corrected passages in the Qur’an is to think of something impossible.

I know this as been asked before, and I am looking for a point of view from the Christians that dont support gay marriage (but anyone is welcome to answer). I get that homosexuality is a sin, but so is re-marriage after a divorce. Why are people trying so hard to stop homosexuals from enjoying the same benefits and perks that "adulterors" get when they marry the second time? Shouldnt you also be protesting to ban second marriages?

I am pleading with you to think about this. We have all sinned. To sin is to break God's Moral Laws. If you've ever lied, stolen, lusted, coveted, or used God's name in vain, then you've broken some of His laws. The Bible tells us that when we die God will judge us by the standard of His moral laws, and if you are guilty, He will send you to Hell. There is only one way to be Forgiven. Jesus died on a cross and rose again to pay the debt for your sins, but you must Repent, which means to ask for forgiveness of your sins and turn away from them, then put your complete Trust in Jesus Christ. ONLY then will you be accepted into Heaven, not because your a good person, but because your a bad person who's been FORGIVEN. Please give this some sincere thought. I don't want you to end up in HELL

According to the Bible, Book of Genesis, chapter 1, verses 11-13, vegetation was created on the third day along with seed-bearing grasses, plants and trees; and further on as per verses 14-19, the sun was created on the fourth day.

How is it scientifically possible for the vegetation to have appeared without the presence of the sun, as has been stated in the Bible?

I know this to be true, but so many people think Catholisism is different than Christianity along with Baptists, Presbyterians, and so on. How can I explain this to people who don't believe being Catholic is still being a Christian!

I'm in LOVE with my fiance. He does things to make me really feel that he cares. We spend a lot of our free time together and we're just really into eachother. He just won't open completely up to me. He try to act like he's not really into me the way I'm into him, but he really is. Actions speak louder than words. He always want to be around me, he takes me to all of his outings. He talks about me to the people on his job. He's actually introduced me to a few people he work with. I only know that he talks about me because one of his co-workers told me. He don't want me to know he talks about me.

He get his ways from his family, "no doubt" they are all the sweetest most kind hearted people you'll ever meet, but they're not emotional at all. Him not showing any emotions really bothers me, but he is truly a wonderful man. I've told him many of times that him not showing me any real feelings will lead me to depart from him. I really don't want to do that. What should I do?

A hypothetical: I believe in one "truth", yet you espouse another. I, only wishing that all would know the "truth", debate my perspective with you with the ultimate goal of convincing/converting you. Am I wrong? What if your "truth" harms people (such as female genital mutilation in some religions, or stoning of rape victims in others), and mine does not cause such direct harms? Am I then justified to "force" my "truth" upon you?
