Being that she is only deliberating replacing right into a nun, she hasn't desirous to yet. if it is the case, the Priest has no top to talk for her. he's in reality jumping the gun and that i'd be careful of him overstepping his bounds in different subject matters concerning self-determination and respecting human beings's self sufficient suggestions and alternatives. let her understand your thoughts and promises her some time to make up her suggestions. Love is affected individual. If she comes to a decision to be a nun anyhow, be at liberty for her, and understand that you've been area of the technique of helping her make sparkling her existence's route. If she doesn't pick you, it does no longer mean that you're a a lot less efficient individual...it purely means that she feels an effective calling, and that there is a particular interest for her to do in her existence.

Tell her how you feel and how much you want to spend the rest of your life making her happy. Make God a big part of your life and show her that as 2 become 1 they can still worship God together. If it doesn't work, and she really wants to be a nun, then let her go. I don't think Jesus ever said anything about wanting people to be nuns... but if that's what she wants in the end, then you'll have to move on.

You will never stop loving her, but the pain will get weaker. And here's a secret that Catholics won't tell you- you can always give up your wimple and not be a nun anymore. It just means you have to leave the church, because that is like divorcing God.

God that's awful! Listen...i know you love her, but maybe she's doing you a favour by becoming a nun - i mean, it's not exactly normal to want to live like that, she and her family must have serious issues. Maybe it's better in the long run if she becomes one?

If she is becoming a nun just because her family wants her to, hopefully the vocation director at the convent she is entering will pick that up. Most religious communities that I know of go through rigorous questioning and physiological observing to see why someone really wants to enter. They will not allow her to enter if they find that she is doing it just because her family wants her to enter.
You may want to talk to her family about it as well.

That's truly sad. How do you know she loves you. God did not call her to be a nun. Try to tell her that. Talk to her, and her parents-I assure you it is a mistake.

Why stop loving her? Wimples can be pretty sexy on some women! Maybe you should just get some priests robes and spice things up for her a bit in the bedroom...

I think her true love is God. Anyway, she can change her mind later. They let nuns leave.

If she wants to be a nun then she must have a calling for that or she will regret it. When she decides this is it then you have to let her be.

You'll have to accept her decision and you don't have to stop loving her, however start thinking of her as a very good friend whom you shared some good memories with.
Bless you honey!
