Medicine definately. What has 'prayer' really ever done? How many of my dead battlebuddies were prayed for when they were suffering and how many of them died horribly anyways.
Knowledge is always better than belief.

Medic. (There is a priest at the hospital anyway). On the battlefield, there is very rarely a priest. There are however, medics, and that is who you are to call as a trained soldier. Being a trained soldier, you understand that your duty, on being wounded, is to call for a medic. If you do not call for a medic you are not fulfilling your legitimate duties that you have undertaken. The Catholic Church frowns upon that.
The Catholic Church also teaches that it is the duty of the Army to provide a priest for its wounded solders to attend to their spiritual needs. The Catholic Church has a Military Archdiocese that functions to provide priests for the Army so that its soldiers can be attended to.
So your first duty would be to call for a medic, but you should also call for a priest when you have the chance, and it is also the duty of the Army to make available to you a priest when there is one that can get to you.

wow. just because we're Christians doesnt mean we're idiots. yes, i would want to go to the hospital. i believe that God wanted me to be wounded in the battle, but I also believe that He wants me to get medical attention for it. besides, you dont have to be in a church for people to pray for you. and whether or not people pray, if it's God's will, then I would survive. if not, then I wouldn't.

Religion rep? You mean the chaplain?
I figure it is always better to call the medic first. After all, a medic might be able to keep you alive, but he doesn't claim to be able to raise you from the dead.

There's nothing wrong with seeking medical attention. As is with most cases, people seek medical first, and then pray. Most miraculous healings take place when there is nothing else medically to do.

Reminds me of one religion that enforces that rigid belief refusing blood transfusions. Isn't it we have a saying that If we do our best God will do the rest? I'll go for the knowledge and where ever its shortcomings faith in God will deliver the rest.

A medic first. They may save your life. If you live a Christian life and repent you do not need the priest.
