America is great.....life is luxurious here if you work hard(immigrants)....but I doubt some of the freedoms which are taken for granted daily can help. Another decade or so of this filth and I can start distrusting my neighbors.
Desperate housewifes........ adultery acceptance
Gay and lesbian rights......... gay sins
China suppresing all christian rights... condemning God
Barry Bonds/ Ralphy............ lying against all odds
Las Vegas........................... gambling mecca
OJ simpson........................ Murder
Rebuilding of the Jerusalem temple
Woman President............... First sin
Maybe the world war is the last one I need to see.
Ask me this question again in a decade when the population of the world will be considered inadequate for the resources we have left.

>>>North Korea and Iran are building Nukes<<<
So have 15 or 20 countries before them.
>>>Israel is fighting Lebanon and the Palestinies<<<<
What else is new?
>>>the White Sox and Red Sox won the World Series,<<<
They won it right around World War I also -- and lo and behold, the world is still here.
>>>Christianity is on the decline in the world,<<<
Not true. There are more Christians now than at any other time in world history.
>>>the US can't seem to keep the peace,<<<
Where in the Bible does it say, "The End Times will come when a country called the United States of America fails to keep peace"?
>>>what more proof do we need?<<<
How about where Christ said, "You do not know the day nor the hour"?

There is a problem with many of your "proofs". Christianity is not on the decline (nor is that necessarily a sign of the times). Christianity is actually on the rise everywhere seemingly but the US. It may be slow, but it is growing. The US is doing an amazing job in Iraq; just ask the soldiers. White Sox and Red Sox? Not sure what that means. N. Korea started building nukes back in the late 90s and Iran is nothing new. Ditto Israel fighting. That said, I think the end is approaching however.

I'm guessing that you are referencing Jesus' teachings in Matthew 24. It is easy to get this confused, and is usually taught incorrectly. But, the "signs" don't point to what you think they might. Some actually pointed to the capture of Jerusalem just decades after Jesus' death, which did happen. Others are indicative of the end times as a whole, but "end times" does not just mean the last couple years before Jesus' return. It actually means the time between his ascension and his return. So we've been living in the "end times" for the past 2,000 years.

some attitude... Specter in common words left the Republicans because he did not opt to get beat in the Republican universal. He did this because he's a political opportunist; not for some principled reason. Even once Franken is seated, the Democrats is purely not in a position to position self assurance in Specter. truly, Specter suggested he's not likely to help the Democrats without delay. To educate his element, he suggested he continues to be going to vote adversarial to the right to vote unionization bill. It sounds to me like not some thing has replaced except for the very incontrovertible actuality that Specter is going to run for reelection as a Democrat.

For the last two thousand years, everyone's assumed their age was the end times. The first millenium came and went, the world wars ended after much carnage, several middle east skirmishes have come and gone.
"None knows the hour," we are told. That remains true today. Could be five minutes from now. Could be five thousand years. None knows the hour.

Bad things have always been happening in the world. Christians have been predicting end times since the religion started. Paul thought that Jesus would return in his life time.
Do something to improve the world instead of moaning about end times being here.

All this does not mean we are at the verge. There is still a long way to go. Nostradamus' Predictions say there should be a world war shortly, however, it also says that life shall start anew. Life always starts when it seems on the verge.

Jesus said that "wars and rumors of wars" would come, but the end would not be yet (Matthew 24:6). In other words, military actions and buildup was not a sign of anything.
He specifically said that there would be no signs of the end (Matthew 24:36-39).

The Bible says we'll be able to see the signs of the times. However, most of the world does not believe the Bible, so there will never be enough proof for them.
