10% might be, but Hare Krishnas are not on a whole gayer than the average population.
The four regulative principles are: no illicit sex life [this means sex only in marriage and then only for the purpose of having a Krishna conscious child], no meat eating, no gambling and no intoxication. In addition we must agree to chant at least 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra daily. Accepting these basic principles is the beginning, they pave the way for our advancement in Krishna consciousness.
They seem to frown on Gay Marriage.

I believe that people who are gay are born that way - (I mean gay not bi-sexual - that is a choice). People hide this for many reasons, religious beliefs, fear of rejection from loved ones, hate crimes etc.. But I do no think it only hits a specific types of people & leave other types out. That's like saying are Christians Blonde? Every one has diffrences about them regardless of thier beliefs
