I don't think people should do that to begin with. Who gave them the right to try and force their opinions on other people, especially somewhere like a train where people can't escape from nonsensical rantings. That's unfair and plain rude. I'd be pissed if someone did that while I was on a train. Oh and by the way, I'm a Christian and I STILL think this.

People who preach on a train are highly irritating. People probably think you are nuts. You can't force someone to think the same way as you, and if they wanted to hear preaching, they would go to church. Preach about crazy people.

don't preach on trains. The best way to win a person over is to have a relationship with them. Like a next door neighbor. Do things like: Hey I know that it was your sons birthday and I wanted to drop this by for him. Mow their lawn, trim their bushes......Of course make sure that it is ok first.

OOooh, I've thought about this one for quite a bit. You could recount your marriage to Jesus, what you wore, and how he wanted to do something other than missionary style, which bothered you. But in the end, you were glad he went up the chocolate turnpike. I'm sure you'd be able to get everyone's attention, eventually.

Personally I think that is disrespectful for anyone of any religion to preach to such a captive audience. In doing so you have basically taken away the persons right to walk away and not listen to you... you have taken away freedom of choice.

Talk about rapture. How the train could suddenly become empty and would you like to be the one left behind.

That would definitely leave them with something to think about.
