Well. actually Christian's believe they are sinners!

Therefore, they are not better than you, they are just like you!

The only difference is they recognize they need an atonement for their sins and acknowledge that Jesus s the only true sacrifice worthy!

God's glory, grace. and mercy, nothing man did!

I think you are ignorant when it comes to understanding Christianity. You're analysis of the faith leads me to believe that you hate religion and probably especially Christianity. I would suggest trying to understand a little more about people's faith and belief system before ranting that it's just for show. Christianity is not about telling people that they are going to hell but rather telling people that there is a way to heaven by repenting your sins to Jesus Christ. I know there are some extreme cases of people who claim to be christians but in my opinion after reading the holy bible I think that some people say things that they are not. Seriously this question was pretty pointless, so I guess No, I don't believe Christianity is just for show. There would be no point of that.

Who else believes that athiesm is just for show "har har, we dont believe in anything, so we dont have to waste our lives like you christians do, we are SO smart"...but opps, death comes, and suddenly they arent feeling quite so smart. No, because they are too ignorant to see the truth. Say yes to Jesus.

Not preaching just making a point, the door swings both ways, geez, get over it.

Jesus is the saviour from pain and torment and I would not want my WORST enemy to go to hell. The "Gospel or Good news" is that you don't have to go there!!! But everyone that does not bow the knee to Him in this life will in the next life and then be sent to hell. This is true, BUT the whole purpose of a Christian on earth is to worship and obey God AND TO BRING EVERYONE THAT WILL WITH THEM.If there is a church that laughs about people going to hell, I tell you to stop going to that church because if they want people to go to hell they DO NOT have the love of Christ in them,no true Christian wants it to happen to people but Word of God says

Psa 9:17 "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."

There are some churches believe parts of the book but not the whole book. You have to do what the bible says to make it to heaven.I suggest you get into a TRUE church.

Psa 53:1 "To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good."

I am an athiest but I have a close friend who is a christian and she isn't one just for show - she really believes in God and heaven etc, so she's changed my mind a bit about christians.
However i do think that there are people out there who do it to look good and feel like they are above everybody else, there are also a hell of a lot of hypocrites!

I'm not a Christian just for show.
I can honestly say that its made me feel so happy, and whole. Not just because of the promise of an afterlife, but because of the comfort of now, and having a loving God I can pray to. Since I became a Christian, and opened my heart to the Lord Jesus Christ, I've never felt more alive, never felt more peace in my heart. Jesus died for my sins and I am grateful. I am grateful for more now that I know that God has given it all, and created it all.

You have a sick and perverted view of Christianity. You have my sympathy.

If it were not for Christianity, there would be no civilization as we know it, and you would not be sitting there with a computer knocking it.

Christianity is all about being restored to what human beings were originally intended to be, FULLY ALIVE.

Christianity is about being reconciled with a loving Father, and with being reconciled with one another. Thats what two parts of a cross means.

Christianity offers a framework to build societies based on love, peace, justice, and freedom. It has not failed, it just hasn't been fully tried.

Christianity is about the love of God for all humans, elevating the dignity of each human person, especailly the poor, the sick, the lonely, the suffering, and its all about the sanctitity of life.

What you disbelieve about Christianity, so do I.

I am a Christian and I am not a show piece. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of the Most High Father. I believe in creationism. I believe in the Holy Spirit. I believe in the compassion and love of Jesus. I believe in do unto others as you would have them do to you. I believe in truth, justice and righteousness but I am not a show piece.

And yet there is a great deal of interest in recent decades in Gnostic Christianity, which places even more emphasis on the dichotomy between seeing the truth and ignorance.
