It is NOT POSSIBLE THAT SUN IS CREATED AFTER THE DAY.
This is not Logical. Do you believe this. The answer would be NO from you. This is not to harm the feelings of Christians but to show them the real facts and errors on which there believes depends.

The Bible says in chapter 1, verses 3-5, of Genesis that the phenomenon of day and night was created on the first day of creation of the Universe by God. The light circulating in the universe is the result of a complex reaction in the stars; these stars were created according to the Bible (Genesis chapter 1 verse 14 to 19) on the fourth day. It is illogical to mention the result that is the light (the phenomenon of day and night) was created on the first day of Creation when the cause or source of the light was created three days later.

Come to the true path of God, Islam.

Read Quran Please.
Remember
There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah.

To the people who dont want to be logical can believe that IT is Possible that Sun can be created AFTER the DAy.

What is stoping them from truth?, one can imagine that how much they are brainwashed through there sources, even if there sources tell them that you are not on earth right now but sitting in PLANET PLUTO then will definately say OH yeah we didnt knew that and we are in PLUTO. Even if one try to tell them that You innocent people are bombared by illogical teachings and brainwashed then they will say OH you are the one who is because WE ARE PEOPLE OF PLANET PLUTO and you from earth.

One can ask that why we try to tell them the truth BECAUSE we as a Human do love all humans, and many times when one is degraded for his good efforts we feel sorry that see if we try to tell them the truth they are even then denying it for nothing. I DONT KNOW WHY.

TO FIND THE REAL SOLUTION TO THIS MATTER ONE SHOULD BECOME NUTRAL AND SEE WHAT IS BEING ARGUED.

THERE IS NO INTENTION TO HURT THE FEELINGS OF ANY ONE, but to tell the truth. THATS IT.

IT IS TRUE

There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah.

DEFINATELY TRUE IT IS.

I suppose that with God all things are possible; He could theoretically have created light without creating the Sun. Still, I don't personally subscribe to that interpretation. Really, I think Genesis is the Hebrew creation story, just as many cultures have creation stories. The difference is that Genesis also has a deeper significance, which is why it's part of the Bible even if it's not entirely factual or even always internally consistant. But doesn't Islam have the same roots as Christianity?

You say that the bible is wrong because light was created on the first day, and the the "stars were created according to the Bible (Genesis chapter 1 verse 14 to 19) on the fourth day"
Who says that Jehovah God did not create light, and then put it in motion when he needed it? Your logic has as many holes in it as does the theory of evolution! You will find more truth if you will read the whole bible, and study! Not just look for contradictions. I'm sure if you look for them in your bible they will be there too, if that is what you are looking for!

First of all, time was created by God so this is perhaps just to give us reference. I don't know for sure though. But, Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Light." Perhaps this means that God created Jesus and the other angels (good and bad, this would be the lgiht and dark) on the 'first day'. Just a thought, I'm not an expert.

Well considering the Quran sources Genesis (and Exodus) for much of its information, that'd be a problem for both religions, and Judaism as well.

Where my religion is concerned, Christianity is not a form of "book worship." It is not necessary for a Christian to believe that every one of the world's ten million plus bugs got loaded on an ark by a man named Noah in the neolithic era.

Christianity is focused on Christ. The important lessons of Genesis are of how man fell. The important lesson Christ teaches is how man can rise.

Triviata about inconsistencies with modern cosmology (inconsistencies which Islam shares) are not important. For if you think that such minor details are what Christianity is about, you really don't understand anything about us.

We are about faith. We are about hope. But most of all we are about love.

May God love and bless you.

1. Jesus was teh ligh of the world.
2. Recall also, that there was no physical source of light in the 'Holy of Holies'. The lampstand was in the Holy Place.
3. When Moses came from Mt. Sinai, he had to wear a veil, because the light on his face was too bright forthe people.

Do these thoughts help?

this does not make experience in words of the sought after definition of the interest day. yet, who's to assert that 24 hours of sunshine and darkish defined an afternoon in the course of the creation? also, with the help of your definition of day wanting to contain mild, does that advise even as there are 24 useless nights on the North Pole that an afternoon does not exist?

You guys are fighting about two myths.
They are two stories, as valid as the creation of the cosmos by the greeks, created to explain what could not be understood with logical reasoning.

It would be as valid for me to say that both of you are wrong because Zeus is the king of the gods, or Ra, or Shiiba.

They are MYTHS.

First of all, the Big Bang is a proven scientific fact, does the Quran teach that?

Secondly, I see every time you mention your prophet you have to say "peace be upon him". Some of the lazier ones just say "pbuh", is that ok too?

You have to say that every time, even when writing?

Seems like obsessive compulsive behavior to me.

So what was the light that He created first? We do not get our light from the stars, where did you get that from. We get our light from the sun so what else would it be then that He created on the first day when He created light?
