I just want to know, because I've heard some real silly ones, particulary about the Eastern Religions like Buddhism and Muslim.

There is a Chapter in the Holy Qur'ân, named Surat u Maryam "Chapter Mary", named in honor of Mary the mother of
Jesus Christ, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him; again, such an honor is not to be found given to Mary in the
Christian Bible. Out of the 66 books of the Protestants and 73 of the Roman Catholics, not one is named after Mary or
her son. You will find books named after Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, Paul and two score more obscure names,
but not a single one is that of Mary!
If Prophet Muhammed, salla Allah u alihi wa sallam, was the author of the Holy Qur'ân, then he would not have failed to include
in it with Mary, the mother of Jesus, his own mother Aamina, his dear wife Khadija, or his beloved daughter Fatimah.
But No! No! This can never be. The Qur'ân is not his handiwork!.

The story is ,the maternal grandmother of Jesus, Hannah, had hitherto been barren. She poured out her heart to God:
If only God will grant her a child, she would surely dedicate such a child for the service of God in the temple.
God granted her prayer and Mary was born. Hannah was disappointed. She was yearning for a son, but instead she delivered a daughter; and in no way is the female like the male, for what she had in mind. What was she to do? She had made a vow to God.
She waited for Mary to be big enough to fend for herself.
When the time came, Hannah took her darling daughter to the temple, to hand over for temple services. Every priest wanted to
be the god-father of this child. They cast lots with arrows for her - like the tossing of the coin - head or tail?
Eventually she fell to the lot of Zakariya, but not without a dispute.

Christians does not know that the Muslim does not take the holy name of Jesus, in there own language, without saying Eesa, alaihi assalam ("Jesus, peace be upon him")
The Christian does not know that in the Holy Qur'ân Jesus is mentioned twenty five times. For example:
"We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit" (The Holy Qur'ân 2:87)
"O Mary! God giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary..." (3:45)
"...Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of god..." (4:171)
"...And in their foot steps we sent Jesus the son of Mary..." (5:46)
"And Zakariya and John, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the righteous." (6:85)

Please come to the TRUE WORD OF GOD called Al Qur'an.

We accross the world use Arabic on our prayers & even on our conversations( Eg: Salam).
In Saudi it was the national language and it was the language of the Prophet also.
Similarly Quran says Being Arabic is the language of Mohammed we have sent this quran in Arabic Lanuage. And now were in Quran or in Hadith it is been mentioned that we need tp do the Prayers / conversations only in arabic.
Even on the prayer call we use arabic, in which among muslims itself we dont understand what is been called on the Prayer call.
Why are we still using arabic which is not known to us & not understandable.
According to me the local language shall be used so that people understand the teachings of Islam.(both Muslims & non muslims.
Pls answer this thru Quran & Hadith.

K I'm an atheist with a Christian girlfriend so we have our little debates on religion all the time but there are 2 Qs I can never get her to answer.

I find it funny that a so called higher being (god) can just do all this magical stuff build a planet build creatures build a human and have them all just appear. I'd love to see how this is possible in reality not the fantasy world of a so called being named god.

Then were did (god) come from did he just appear out of no where billions and billions of years ago and say "Hey I'm going to build trillions of planets and make a race of animals that will rule 1 world"

Plz help me out here.

christians believe :do not believe in christ and that he is divine no matter what good you do on earth if you belong to another religion Hell is your fate.
Hitler & the Nazis KILLED millions of jews in the most grusome manner (extermination camps) why all the christians are condemning it as crime against humanity anyway the jews dont believe in christ they will rot in hell, think about it if hitler had not killed a single jew than their succesors (kids) would be alive and many more souls would end up in hell.( i personally hate hitler)
Use of nuclear bombs has been declared by US & UN as crime agaist humanity many Japanese people died in the most horrible manner when US used A bombs in WW2 but they were buddhist they will go to hell along with many of their succcesors who are being born deformed in Hirosima & Nagasaki (most of them are not christians).
why are you being hypocrites you should feel good antichrists have been exterminated . red indians & aborigines will also go to hell.

I am being entirely honest here.

Before any of you decide to tell me I have nothing to compare against, I was in Catholic schooling for 12+ years of my life. If I ever had to do that all over again, I'd probably run away from home.

Being forced into one line of thinking is probably the worst thing anyone can do to a child. And yet, they have entire SCHOOLS to do it in.

Now, in everyday life, and even here on these boards, I see all these religious people howling about how everything that their bible/book/whatever says is right, and everyone else is wrong.

Why can't people try and help themselves, rather than hope to hell that something good will come their way?

Moreover, don't yell at/kill other people for not believing what you say. Speaking about Muslim/Islam people, regarding the kill-factor. But the western religions can be just as bad. Sometimes worse. Yes, there are worst things than death.

If anyone can give me a decent answer, I'll be a happy (unsaved) girl when I die. :)
