people often ask what is the meaning of life...but the question should perhaps be what is the meaning of death, without death and it's finality what value would there be to life and our precious time alive...is none of us could die life would have no meaning, would we even notice we were living without the opposite polarity of not living?

We tell children fairy stories about Santa and the Easter Bunny, but we allow them to learn the truth when they grow up. Everything I have found out in my life tells me that God/Gods are just such fairy stories.

Why you so many "Educated" people still cling to them? Is it the fear of not being "Special" or the fear of death being the end? What's wrong with being just a clever Monkey?

The Bible, for one example was written by people who didn't know why the sun just hung there in the sky like it does. Why do so many people take their word about the way the Universe works with its invisible god and an afterlife you have to take their word for?

I believe in the ideas expressed by Jesus Christ (or who ever came up with them), Loving one another, working together. They make sense, but I can’t see anything supernatural in that.

Why is so much of the Human race so reluctant to grow up and face reality?

Can we think for a Universal Religion which adopts all positive aspects regarding all phases of life from other religions and eliminate all negatives in other religions and also trying for more better defenitions and rules for life if possible, by the human intellect. Love, Happiness , Peacefullness and Ultimate Satisfaction for each and every living things should be its aim.

Westboro Babtist Church is a church that actually goes to funerals of gays, lesbians, US soldiers, and others and portests that "They deserved to do die."

They say that God hates everybody
That US Soldiers Deserve to die
that "God Hates Fags" <--thats their exact words
"Thank God for Aids, and HIV"
they even went into a Holocaust Museam and said that Jews were the Nazis
They go around terrorizing Catholic churches too!

Does it say anywhere in the Bible - even taking into account that it was written by several people and contradicts itself at times - that death was invented by the devil? If so, where? And does the Bible lead you into thinking something else on that subject anywhere else? Thanks.

I'm just a little bit confused (since i'm not a christian). What is exactly Jesus? Is he a prophet bringing a message (religion) to man; or is he the son of God sent by God; or is he the God himself?
Because from what i see, (if i'm not mistaken) christian is more like "worshipping" Jesus than "worshipping the" God (if he truly is the "supposedly" son of God, like people say). Why the son and not the Father? Why the man and not the God?
