Does it say anywhere in the Bible - even taking into account that it was written by several people and contradicts itself at times - that death was invented by the devil? If so, where? And does the Bible lead you into thinking something else on that subject anywhere else? Thanks.

God is the most powerful and he is the one in control of the whole world and this universe. God has created life and death, he gives life to one whom he wants to and give death to one whom he wants to and whenever and where ever he wants to for that anything and everything in this world has a beginning and an end except God. Human beings are no different for this rule and so they die by the rule of God.

However, God has also created life after in which the life will be eternal and there God will award death to death itself so that nothing dies up there. Based on our deeds in this world, we have to repay there facing Hell and Heaven for our ever and eternal lives.

God, the devil did not invent anything. Everything comes from God, the good the Bad, the Ugly. Including the devil.

In Genesis death was part of the punishment for eating from the tree of knowledge.

Genesis 3:22
And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."

According to bible devil has nothing to do with it, and it's not a matter of "inventing" death but rather of denying life. Also according to this, Eve & Adam were not immortal since they depended on the tree of life. When they could not eat from that tree they began to decay. This is serious business and you know why? Because this god did not have direct power over E&A's life, rather it was the tree of life. The verse also suggests that the god(s) in that garden also depended on that tree. hmmm...

Certainly, death was invented by the same entity that invented life. This is God. The devil himself will die at the end of this life.

Death is only a misunderstanding. Jesus proved this, but no one noticed because organized religion focuses on his death rather than on his resurrection. The crucifixion is such a fertile ground for them to grow guilt they can’t resist focusing on it.

Jesus showed us through his resurrection that we are in truth spirit, that the body is only a temporary vehicle that enables understanding that would be difficult for spirit to access from its true state. This transition we call death is itself misunderstood and is the source of great fear due to this misunderstanding.
Death is not the door to oblivion as we have been taught to think of it in western mythology. It is simply spirits exit strategy from the idea that it is a physical body. An exit into a far more desirable reality for spirit I might add.

If you have trouble believing this think of it this way God is only love. Returning to this unconditional and all encompassing love is not a moment of stark terror. Rather it is seen as a long overdue homecoming. Love and blessings.

Your brother.

God invented the world and it's inhabitants. He also created rules. Death was the punishment for man's sins. Man brought that on himself. He had a choice. If you play with fire you get burned that is called a natural consequence. Do you blame God when you touch fire and get burned? That would be your fault not God's.
Peace of Christ be with you,

When God created Adam & Eve, there was no such thing as death. They were living in the Garden of Eden (Paradise). There was no such thing as death, until Eve ate of the forbidden fruit from the "tree of Good and evil". and gave the fruit to Adam, who also ate from it. This is the original sin of mankind., and this is why death came into the world.

God has chosen you to die because its a natural phenomenon and thats in the Bible that one has to rests his physical body so that his spiritual state can be either with God or the Devil.. it's one's choice... so if your good and dies then youl be with God no matter what's your religion because its been mentioned even in other religions that if one dies he'll be with God or Allah.. however if your bad the you're doomed..

ugh, death happens because our bodies cannot endure certain hardships. it is not part of a plan or design.

so death is a part of the cycle we call nature and nature is here because of an accident in some water billions of years ago.

we all came from some form of monkey and will continue to evolve. well most of us...
