The Greek term Christos was actually transliterated rather than translated into English, thus the definition of the term `Christ' means `Anointed One'. Christ was anointed with the Holy Spirit(Matthew 3) thus making Him the Anointed One. Thus `AntiChrist' carries the meaning of one who is against the anointing. In I John 4, we find that `several anti-Christ have gone out among you'. So the anti-christ or an Antichrist is already among us......it is the people, teaching, lifestyle, religion of those who deny the saving power of Jesus Christ and the transforming ability of the Holy Spirit through the blood of Jesus Christ.

In Muslim, they understand that Isa is the Almasih because they learned from the Chritistian. Afterall, the muslim is about 600 yrs after Christian.
For the Jews, they are also waiting for the MEssiah, but they don't call it Jesus. In their understanding, Messiah should come and deliver them from their oppression, and restored the tent of David (Prophecy).
However, when Jesus came, he did not do that, but Jesus even preached that the Kingdom of God is open to Gentile (Many incident, healing of the Centurian's slave is one of them).
Thus, the Jews hang their Lord on the cross. But again, the Lord pray that Father in Heaven to forgive them, for they know not what they did. Many of those believed during the pentacost.
Anti-Christ? Muslim? No, I do not think so. I am a Christian. In my own understanding, when the anti-christ do come now, and demand that all mankind to worship him, the 3 monotheists namely the Jews Muslim and Christian, it may be the Muslim that will hold arms agaist them. Christian? Sorry to say, many Church goers are only interested in their own business.
I do wish people can understand that we need a Messiah/ Almasih, and start praying to God thru him. And that when he comes again, we may recognised him.
Should you have any problem, please e-mail me personally.

Christians believe the Messiah had already arrived as Jesus Christ....now If I understand well your question you want to know about the anti-Christ? Christians believe the anti-Christ is a meaning for when the whole world be under the control of evil.
We believe Jesus Christ died to teach us and remember us the meaning of love in order to prevent the ruin of the world by the bad side of humans nature, meaning the anti-Christ is in our heart not God with Jesus as its suppose to be.

As a Christian I believe our messiah already came, and he is Jesus. I believe he will return, but before he does a false messaih will arise who will fool many into following him, then he will persecute and kill those who dont after he shows his true colors. Unfortunately it will be too late for his (the antichrist's) followers when he does.
