This is a question that has been asked throughout humankinds existance. Everyone wants to know what happens when we die, and why do we die at all? If we are real students of God's word, the Bible, all the answers are provided to us with examples of what we should do and what we should not do during our lives on Earth. We die because of the rebellion in the garden of Eden. Satan challenged God's authority and soveriegnty. The first couple knew that they had deliberately disobeyed a simple and reasonable command. The wages of sin is death. God amde Adam from the dust of the ground and said that Adam would return to the dust. Death is an Enemy. Ecclesiastes 9:5 "For the living are conscious that they will die;but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all." Some religions teach that if you lead a good life, you will go to heaven but if you live a bad life, you will burn in a place of torment. Other religions teach that at death, people pass on to the spirit world to be with thier ancestors. In truth, when a person dies, they cease to exist.Pslam 146:4 says that when a man dies,"his thoughts do perish. It is a shame that we die, and it was not the creators original intent. We were supposed to have perfect bodies, perfect minds, and to live forever in a paradise world ruled by God, whose name by the way, is Jehovah(Psalm 83:18). If you read the account od Lazarus, you can see what will happen at our resurrection. Jesus raised him in front of many eyewitnesses. Jesus will do it again for all mankind when his Father Jehovah determines it to end.( John 5: 26-30). Jesus will reign as King of the Kingdom and then he will bind up Satan FOR 1000 Years. In that time we will be all instructed again how to live under Jehovah God's and Jesus' rulership forever and ever. Amen

No one can take a comfort of the fact that the one you love so much will have to perish sooner or later. But it is a universal rule of life that when one life is formed on earth it has to leave earth someday or another. We have to abide and live by this cruel fact of life. But since science is developing there are hopes that dead people can be resurrected from their slumber back to life. Thats why many people are starting to follow the preserving of dead bodies. Maybe someday there will be this ray of hope that we may never loose our loved ones.

Of course, this is a very painful and discalming thing. But this is the nature of life. Everything must have an end some day, and life is not an exception. I think this is a proof that this universe has only one creator who will never die because He is the origin of all things, at start and at last.

The Bible says "It is appointed unto man once to die, and after that, the judgment.

Whoever we are, each one of us will stand before God. Whether or not we have a place in Heaven depends on whether or not we had a relationship with God while we were on earth.

John 3 v 16 says

For God so loved the world that He GAVE His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

There is a way for each person to come to God and repent and ask forgiveness of their sins. God is a just judge. Everyone of us has a choice as to where we will spend eternity.

My father lived the last 8 years of his life a total invalid in constant ever increasing pain while he waited to die. Towards the end of her life a stroke left my mother bedridden with brain damage, towards the end she didn't recognize her daughter or granddaughter, or even realize she had them. It was indeed a comfort to know that these were temporary conditions, and more so to know the suffering was over. Should it be my misfortune to face such an end, I will take comfort in knowing that it too will pass.

No, I'm not looking forward to that part of life, but I do take comfort in the fact that I believe that we'll all be together again after death.
