The pope is already trying to do this, he has the Church of England as RC again and many Methodists and others now bowing the knee to Rome. he also has had a ceremony for all faiths including a snake charmer and Muslims and Buddhists and even Baal worshipers, and they all prayed to their own "gods." The only people who refused to attend are Born Again Bible Believing Christians, as we know that Jesus tells us that He is the way the truth and the life, and no man cometh to the Father but by Him. John 14:6

The Indonesian government created it its called Bahai and is a mish mast of the 'bests' bits of each religion and is very popular there.. bit like a religious version of 'hooked on classics CD's that you get' with the catchy stuffing missing the boring bits, the doom and gloom, the concept of original sin and contradictions

YES PLEASE!!... and can we just call it Religion or Faith.. or something general??
JT.. I think you're missing the point here.. the word Catholicism excludes people, because other religions are not called Catholic.. the point of this Universal Religion is to include everyone.. so no fancy names.. just the good and sweetness from all religions

Yes it is high time to think of such a releigion. But I think, it will take almost half a century from now even if it is evolved. Because, its not us who made us into our relegion. We should make our kids grown into that universal relegion

wouldn't that be amazing , but sadly i don't see it happen for a very very long time
although i do find that people are generally becoming more spiritual in their ways , which can only be a good thing ... whether they would want to be part of something larger or not im unsure
but to unite the world in one faith, is something we can only dream of for now :o)

I must tell you that such an idea was far developed by a medieval muslim group called "al-moatazalah". I advise you to conduct some research about them.
