Some religious people I know think that there must be some kind of "divine intervention" that created the human body. Don't they understand probability math? Billions of years ago, after the big bang, there were trillions (or more) elemental particles floating around in space right? So organic compounds are bound to be formed, even if the chances are one in a quintillion (yes, this is a real number). And over a period of billions of years after the big bang, something like the human body is bound to happen, so why do some people still find the cocept of humans being created by chance "freaky"? Can't we accept that they are nothing more special than an accident?

Simply saying we are all human beings but some religious dignitaries never get married. I wonder how they suppress their pleasures in life....so i have got some questions as follows
Do they masturbate to suppress their feelings?
If so don't you think that it's a sin in their individual religions?
Healthwise thinking, if a male dignitary never masturbates...what would happen to him if so much of semen gets collected in his tests? The important thing here is not to get offended by my questions as i was keeping this question in my mind for a long long time....tks...
And last but not least....for your information many such dignitaries are involed in homosexual or heterosexual relatioships...which are illegal in some countries.

last night on australian TV there was a report about islamic polygamy. This muslim man living in australia was looking for a 2nd wife on the net. A woman journalist posed as a willing woman met him at a shopping centre, and the TV cameras got him.
Dont you think that calling yourself muslim nowadays is a shame on oneself?

it's known to believe that a lot of "facts" from the bible took place in what is currently Iraq.

Does Bush bomb that country because he's scared that someday we will find proof there that could completely disproof the bible?

Zealotry and the over politicization of religious belief, the aim to impose religion on society through organised lobbying, voting tactics to enforce religious rules that privilege only their particular faith through legislation...isn't this going too far and isn't it sure to cause conflict in a secular democratic society where citizens who follow many religions and none must all try to peacefully co-exist...your thoughts please.

Looking back at my question I realised that I forgot to mention that the survey was conducted in the UK - hence the news is that 1 in 7 uk mouslims believe that suicide bombings are justifyied. For actual details of the reports, sign into any news agency in the uk ie the BBC and get details of the survey there. Apologies for any confusion caused. But to the A55 hole(s) who wish me death for asking this question - you are helping to reinforce the wests negative opinion of your religion.

I claim to be atheist but lately have been called an anti-religionist. I dont believe in god but also have a disdain for those who do. i want to be tolerant of others but when they JESUS me i feel the need to tell them how wasted their lives are to need a ghost to believe in. I was once jewish. i dont think the jews are any stupider than other religions. Does anyone share my contempt for religion or am I really Satan (whom i dont believe in)

I recently gave up being a mechanic, a profession i had worked at for sevral years and was quite good at. I did this because I was being forced to do a very many unchristian things (extorting money by legal means, polluting the enviroment, being ridiculed for trying to do the right thing in trying to help people) while i relize there may have been companys i could have worked for where these things would not have practice i was unable to find any in my area and not wanting to move from friends and family i have now found work as a night gaurd at a factory, while i dont neccisarilly enjoy this work more on an intrest level it at least alots me time to study for a better more redeeming profesion. Afterall what good is it to be a good christian yet devot 40 or more hours a week to non-christian practices? I just wanted to know if anyone else has ever done this and if so how it worked out for you
