why do hindu girl has to change her religion when she marry a muslim man? why ?

Why cant muslim guy change into hindu ? why muslim man is only allowed to marry a muslim or christian but not hindu? why?

Actually Hinduism is kind of secular, so they are more liberal.

Muslim men are allowed to marry christian or jew because they are all semetic religions. And have common heritage.

But either way it is really an unfair practice. and crap that Muslim cannt convert but The non Muslim girl or guy should.They call them Katabia- people of book.

They got one book and though they had hit a jackpot! Even when they have borrowwed extensuvely from other religions.

Personally anyone who puts this condition should be dropped immediately.

The answer below is wrong. Muslims can mary only Christian and jew girls without converting them.

As for children ... Well Muslims think that children must be Muslim and Muslim only it does not matter if one of parents is non Muslim.

This is because in Islam, children are raised the religion of the father. So, even if a Muslim man marries a Hindu woman, he doesn't have to worry; his children will be raised Muslim. I'm a new Muslim, and I read about this:
Changing from Islam to another religion is apostasy. A man can marry a Jewish or Christian woman because they're (I was one) refer ed to as: People of The Book, or people who believe in teachings of Jesus, or Moses (Peace unto them). And had Divine books in the past. (But corrupted them). I became a Muslim, and I love it! I feel so fulfilled. Think it over, and take your time to understand the truth. This is what I did.
Many Muslim Imams told me the verse:
"There is no compulsion in religion". And no one foreced me into Islam, I got in it by God's gift to me and my mind.

a muslim can marry a christian or a jew b/c they all believe in the same god. and if a muslim wants to convert to hinduism he is free to do that, but that is unlikely as muslims are very firm in their beliefs. but don't convert to islam if it's not what you believe, not even to marry him.

good question.i myself am wondering tht a long time. best reason-nothing in hindu scriptures says all muslims must convert to hindus upon marriage.but the hadis states it tht convert b4 marriage. i think. ask a kadi/mufti.

there is no law for religions, who created laws for religions, who are they to create laws for relegions, religion is belief , everyone has right to believe whatever and whoever they want, it should be mutual understanding between two people, no one can impose!!!
