if an alien landed and christians were made aware of it (they usually aren't) it would change them and their views of the world and humanity forever.

It would mean nothing more than if a Budist landed in Dallas. God would still be God, no matter by what name He's known, and Jesus Christ would still be the Christian's Lord and Savior. If the alien is a spiritual being, he or she will know God by whatever name they've been instructed to call Him, and will worship Him according to the covenant as He has made with their kind. The Bible may not refer to beings, people, from other planets, but it does say that God is the one God, which applies to the far reaches of the universe. Unfortunately, Christians being Christians, they will probably want to DO one of two things; either convert the alien because they believe that Christians are the only souls who'll get to Heaven, or kill him because he's different and therefore frightening.

This reasoning may be why humans have no clear reference of aliens. It conflicts with what they know, and maybe God did not mention this so we would not be confused.
It is possible to believe in both. In fact many polls state over half the U.S. population believes in the possibility of alien life, and 85% state they are Christians. A definite overlap.
If you consider the fact humans are not all knowing, as is God, then it is easier to understand that, well, we don't know everything.
I believe aliens quite probably exist, and I also believe in God.

karma

As I go through life, fixing my mistakes one at a time, I’ve learned a thing or two about Karma, and part of keeping good Karma is sharing it with others. I hope these notions help you as much as they’ve helped me.
Do good things and good things will happen to you. Do bad things and it will come back and bite you in the ***.

If you want a better life, you need to be a better person.

Bad luck might be contagious. It wouldn’t be fair to bring someone into your life until you clean yours up.

Never underestimate the power of confidence. And never underestimate fifteen beers, a little enlightenment, and the power of Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock.

A person needs a little rest after having his moustache tickled at a gay bar.

You have to do the hard things in life sooner or later.

If you want the reward, you have to do the work.

The secret to life is fixing all the bad things that you’ve done.

Whether picking up trash, returning stolen merchandise, or helping a homosexual find love, it always has the same reward… feeling good about yourself.

Karma. You got to love it.

What we call aliens...... To cut it short
The bible/Somerian texts/Mayans tells us i.e in Genesis about the fallen angels who mated with earthly women and created hybred race of children called the nephelim who created kingship and are apparently the world elite, who control the worlds governments today.

Basically when satan came to earth with a 1/3 of the angels who rebelled against God after loosing the war in heaven.

True christians already know about this or are discovering this, if they are asking the right questions.

It would mean that God diversified his portfolio of creations. Why do people think we are so great that we are the only and best that God could have created? I am not really religious but here is something on biblical note:

There is a verse in John 10:16 that says, "And the other sheep I have which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, one shepherd."

I don't know-- interesting question!

The bible says God created man in his image.
Not that he just created man and man alone.
So I do not think that it would be a bad thing for religion if a alien did land.
But the gang thats been hiding all the info on them in the goverments sure would be pissed.

I asked a matching question as quickly as and the terrific answer I have been given replaced into that extraterrestrial beings do no longer desire Christianity via fact they did no longer have a similar fall from grace that human beings did. The answerer additionally mentioned that extraterrestrial beings have a similar God as we do yet do no longer desire Jesus as a savior via fact they're already stored. extremely, I have been given the impression that the guy replaced into telling me that extraterrestrial beings are doing each and every thing 'good' and that they do no longer desire the Bible like we do. strange, i understand.

Lol!... You're on a roll ... That's a good question ... It would be some interesting dilemnas for all the World's major Faiths, as well as Science ...wouldn't it ...and maybe they are here, but we are not "mature" enough for such a revelation ..

I don't know about all Christians, but most Christians would probably *yawn* and continue on with their lives.

But, the pope, priests & preachers would probably have to begin looking for real jobs.

It would reinforce my faith and also help the "building fund." (Heck, technically Jesus was an alien and THAT really did wonders for Christianity.)
