I claim to be atheist but lately have been called an anti-religionist. I dont believe in god but also have a disdain for those who do. i want to be tolerant of others but when they JESUS me i feel the need to tell them how wasted their lives are to need a ghost to believe in. I was once jewish. i dont think the jews are any stupider than other religions. Does anyone share my contempt for religion or am I really Satan (whom i dont believe in)

Everybody has their own opinion but how else do you think we were created ? Let me guess, molecules got together and we formed as humans... If that is the trurth then surely you would not have a soal - you will not be able to feel love, joy, sadness, have a consious. If you dont have any of these then there is definitely something missing in your life. As a Christian I have seen miracles and am a miracle. Without believing in God then there is no reason for us to live. Why live for 70 - 90 years & then just turn into dust! What is the whole point of this. We are all put onto this earth for a reason - to make our choice, heaven or hell (& Trust me you do not want to choose hell). Surely you have seen & heard about satanic powers (this must come from some power ?) Trust me, when you believe that there is a Satan then you will believe in God as there is no ways that someone would want to burn for ever - the pain ! Everything happens for a reason in life and if you dont believe in going to a good place then why live ?

You said you were once Jewish. Your either a Jew or your not. You can't just stop being a Jew. I assume you mean the Jewish religion. Jesus is real and he is not a ghost. Even history tells you that a man called Jesus walked the earth. Every time scientist try to disprove the bible they end up proving that that event or person did exist. So would it not be more likely that the bible is a history book in itself of our past. I believe in the King James 1611 bible. Time is growing very short, the signs are happening among us already. Believe and you shall be saved.

I think you are in a sad and lonely place. You don't believe in anything. There is one thing I can advise you about. It is OK not to believe in or want to be a part of a religion!!! I think faith in something beyond ourselves, whatever you may call it, gets screwed up when a religion forms itself around that belief. Humans make up religions and since they are imperfect it only goes to show that religions will always be imperfect. However I am ok with people being part of religions because humans are basically social creatures and therefore like to do things in groups. It provides a sense of community and support. What I accept about me is that I do not need that social aspect.
.
What I would suggest to you is that you sort out your feelings in this regard. Are you really disliking of the tenets of the faith or the social aspect ie. praying in church/temple etc? If you like judaism or christianity except for hypocracies you perceive when the conventions and formalities are observed by the respective religions then give yourself permission to believe. It is after all your decision and no-one elses. Your life and no-one elses. Just have a care that you do not make bitterness your very own religion. If you are sceptical then good. Ask questions. If you are not getting the answers keep looking. Start reading. You are most likely one of those people who really needs to find out for themselves what they do believe in. Going to ministers, rabbis and priests just won't cut it for you.
.
Good luck in your journey. I have been searching for my own truth and mostly found it. You can to if you really do want to find it.

personally I dont understand your hate.

I can completely understand your dislike of being preached to (I hate it too) but to say that you as a result you have a disdain for those who do seems illogical to me.

you said you are Jewish right? have you ever had a Jew try to force Judaism down your neck? What has the simple Jew that keeps to himself and practices his religion done to deserve your disdain?

its attitudes like yours that lead to suffering in this world

particular, i imagine hurting others emotionally or bodily would nicely be data of self-loathing. i have wide-spread those who placed others down for no solid reason, yet I suspected it replaced into because it takes a lot less attempt than self-progression. As colorings said, it will be too painful for them to settle for the genuine reason they do it at the same time as the necessary way out is responsible and criticize others.

Alot of people share your thoughts and views but you need to understand that, alot of people take comfort in knowing where they will go when they die. Relegion wrong or right is comforting in that way. Its sad to think that when you die your just simply going to be a rotten corpse with flies and maggots crawling all over you, isn't it?

Most relegions are mainly just a way of life. A set of rules to live by, that makes them good people. Regardless if relegion is wrong or right it does have its place in society.

No, Even though you have turned your back on Him, God still loves you.

You have been filled with hatered by the devil who is claiming his victims.

Don't be a victim, turn back to God who will fill you with His love
