Who else thinks the same as i do?
The forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, whos agrees that it could in actual fact not be an actual fruit but something that signifies fruit, and shame.... Such as "sex".
After eating from the forbidden fruit both Adam and Eve felt very ashamed of themselves... could it be that they were feeling very shamful cause they had
"eaten" of the "forbidden fruit"
*otherwise could be put as*
"engaged" in "sex"?
Cause if you clearly read there is no place in the bible that its stated that the forbidden fruit was in actual fact a physical fruit...
Think about it carefully before answering this question.

"Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it."-Abraham Lincoln

And if so, can you, in good conscience, deny gays the right to marry who they love?

Why is it that when a person asks a question about another religion, the members of that other religion automatically go on the defensive and presume that the questioner is a member of the "opposite" religion???

That and they always gotta say something about spiritual "bigotry"*

LOL you guys are comedy

I have asked many questions here on the Christian religion, not because I dispise it but Because I am interested in it. Although I I have been baptised Catholic, I Doubt I will become true a Catholic, do to certain types out there. But I do belive the religion serves many good purposes in life.

Now for the question.

Why is it you threaten everyone who does not belive in your religion with eternal damnation (hell)? Is it that your hoping to scare them into beliveing? Or some other reason I cant comprehend? Does constantly spouting the "H" word serve any purpose or help for your cause?

Not all of you are like this (thank god) so....

For those of you who dont curse everyone to Hell. Please tell me what does it make you think and how do you feel when you see fellow Christians say this. And how do you deal with it on a daily basis.

(Im predicting 4-5 answers that say nothing but "Your going to hell")

It's come up here a few times. The nature of the question, if you don't know, is that, according to the Bible, when Cain (Kabil) killed Abel (Abil), he is sent by God to the Land of Nod, where he finds a wife.

The question of who Cain's wife is has been a big question between doubters of Christianity and believers in Christianity. Without long cut-and-pastes from online Qur'an sources, could you tell me how, according to Islam, Cain got married? And, in Islam, did Cain kill Abel?

Genuinely curious.

You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of your god.

I am looking to do more research on Wicca, but all my recent resources have been nothing but the fiction, what society believes bullcrap. Can anyone give me useful resources? I am Wiccan myself, fairly new to the game, and I would like to learn from books/internet sites, whatever is out there, as well as use what I was born with.
