Is there anyone out that that has converted to the church of LDS? Is there any pointers, help, suggestions, etc...for someone learning about the church and possibly becoming a member?

No one in my family is a member. I was raised in the Baptist church. But over the past few years I have felt a strong pulling to this church. I have several movies that I have watched, read several books, read the Ensign, visit to the LDS.org and mormom.com websites as well.

Look at your hands. One is left, one is right. One always lies, one always tells the truth. One is Satan, one is God. Put them together, and you have man. Put them apart and you have a choice to make. When one says one thing, the other says the opposite. Which, is which? Are we of God, are we of Satan? Can we be more, can we be less? Prove me wrong, and you'll be proving me right. Prove me right, and you'll be proving me right. Prove you wrong, and I'll be right.

Everytime I get an answer from these folks who supposedly base their existence on the tennants put forth in the BIBLE, they always refer to this magical three headed being called the TRINITY. I have checked my Bible, and Strongs Exhaustive Concordance, and cannot seem to find any proof of such a beast. Is this something that these folks added into the story later?

OK, Christ was tempted. What does that mean, in the Bible?

If Christ was tempted, then what the hell was he thinking? Was there brief moment that Christ thought, "OK, it sounds good. I may want to give it a try"... ..."Nah. I'm Christ. I can't do that".

I am a Christian and I have my beliefs. I have looked in dictionarys and on the internet about atheistism, but I would like to hear from you, what it is you believe. I have not met an atheist before, at least not as far as I know, and would like to know more about how you feel. :)

This is because no other muslim who stands opposed to bin laden has gotten up and made a stong stance against his beliefs. These people are not making themselves known... if they even exist.

"He that is without sin among you, let him cast a stone." John 8:7

Is is so nice, so wonderful, so refreashing to see so many people without sin standing in judgement around here.

Think about it and let me know who here has earned the right?

Do you wanna know why atheists are in this section? Because you religious people are like trainwrecks and your so pathetic that you just have to be watched. Its hillarious yet pathetic at the same time to watch people talking about a god and an after life when neither of them exist.

They say that God never had a beginning nor an end. But we all must start out somewhere. We all must begin at some point and all must end at some point. So how could there never be a beginning or are we meant not to understand or question .

Didache 7:1
But concerning baptism, thus shall ye baptize. Having first recited all these things, baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit in living (running) water.

Didache 7:2
But if thou hast not living water, then baptize in other water; and if thou art not able in cold, then in warm.

Didache 7:3
But if thou hast neither, then pour water on the head thrice in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

From this writing, we know that the Christians in the time frame of 60 - 100 A.D. taught that baptism could be done by pouring water on the head. These Christians probably learned directly from the Apostles or from the students of the Apostles.

So why do so many Chrisitans (Christians who are living almost 2000 years after Christ) insist that immersion is the ONLY way to baptize????
