Otteryhey...your Non-Denominational Happy Pagan Person here. I was wondering why many supposedly "religious" Christian folk don't turn the other cheek more often. Why do they feel they have to respond with sometimes vicious hostility? If not that, then they prostelize the question to death! Please be so kind to give me your ideas...but without the hostility though. I dislike it and it's rude. Prostelize if you really feel you must. I can choose to listen or not. Thanks, folks.

This atheist that I evolved from my primordial goo due to my superior intellect is really giving me a hard time. I tried to kiss him and immediatly a primordial carbon based force field sprang up around him. My lips seemed to slide off this invisible shield and I suddenly felt an urge to hunt and kill a mastedon or a teradactyl or sumpthin'. His mother dragged me over ( literally by the hair ) to her house for some amoeba soup and was YAKing on and on about her favorite show, " the flintstones ". I told her my Father is God and she threw me out for bragging !!! I asked her why he is so hairy and she told me " shhhhhh...dont talk about that...he's very sensitive about that subject ...just leave him alone for a few million years and he will grow out of it ". Then his dad came swinging in on a vine, slipped down the vine and crashed right thru the window! Then his little brother swam in..I swear this kid looked like a flippin' tadpole. Listen guys, can I leave this primal dude? Plz help..

Most Christians claim to be a Christian BEFORE they know anything about it. They learn about it AFTER they've already claimed it. Most of them are considered Christians before they could even talk. When Christians do examine Chritianity, they're usually bias against any evidence that would discredit the bible.

Atheists never claim to be atheist before going through a thinking process. Atheists examine Christianity free of being bias.

just a few examples of members of this forum (i won't name names, it's just to show my point of view)

person A says two things
1) those are not real christians, they are fake christians who just give us a bad name, real christians preach only love.
2) why do muslims kill in the name of religion, it's obviously a bad religion.

person B says:
1)that's just an ignorant atheist, most of us are for sure not that way
2)why are all christians so ignorant to take the whole bible literally

I mean: why is a bad member of "our" group always just a bad example and a sort of fake-member of our group, and at the same time a bad member of "their" group an example of how bad the entire other group is?? How does that work in a human mind?

Do you think it was your parents or your parents parents, or your parents parents parents that invented S'Mores? I think they were created as a joke. You take three ingredients, one extremely brittle (graham crackers), one hard as rock, which you have to melt (chocolate), and one that is already soft and sticky (marshmallows). Somehow, with the help of a heat source, you must combine these three ingredients, noteably in there smore form the most challenging thing to do because the chocolate has to melt, but you cannot put it in the fire. So you hope the heat from the mallow will melt the chocolate, but not so. The graham cracker breaks, and the hot sugary mallow and melted chocolate coat your fingers and clothing sometimes. Then to add to the joke you are supposed to prepare these outside, at like the beach, or camping. So then you don't have adequate hand washing facilities, so you end up covered in sticky food, with dirt stuck in it. And they don't taste that great?

so, apparently if you don't dream at night, you can die because it shows there is no brain activity or anything going on, but i mean how do we know if we dreamt or not? what causes us to wake up & not realize we've dreamt anything? i never can remember any of my dreams, yet im not dead.

anyone agree on this? that all these goody-two shoes that believe ur bad if u do anything 'ungodly' and are judgemental of anyone not christian, are giving christians a bad name. It's people like this that make it hard to be a christian in middle school/ highschool and still try to fit in with the 'punk scene'. I wish people could see that if your Goth and you do a few bad things, you can still be christian, and that just cuz ur christian doesn't mean ur a goody-two shoes. anyone out there agree with me?
