Try Psalm 51 and Psalm 31. Read over them and see if any passage strikes a chord with you.

Pray from the heart and God will hear it. If you try to pray otherwise it will be just like the pharisees, it will only be outward. Talk to your pastor also. Find a prayer partner that can pray with you and for you.

You need to read the Bible. You need to constantly devote yourself to God's Word. Ask God to lead you to the answer. He will if you commit yourself to him. You shouldnt just say an empty prayer that someone made up. Pray your own prayer in your own way... the way God leads you to do it. Believe me, the Spirit will lead you to what you want to know. This is my own personal view... you dont have to do this but it helped me know God more.

IF YOU CAN THINK OR TALK THEN YOU CAN PRAY, YOU CAN TALK TO GOD AS IF HE IS YOUR TRUSTING FATHER. GO AHEAD , TRY.
Mt 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mt 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Mt 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Mt 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Mt 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mt 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mt 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mt 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mt 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Mt 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Mt 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

1-Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
2-Jer 3:13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
3- 1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
A--Ezra 9:6 And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over [our] head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.
Please read 1John the complete chapter, it is not long....
May God forgive you your sins as you forgive those who have sinned against you....
