There will be peace in the Middle East when people in the center of the political spectrum finally get fed up with, and start choking the **** out of the the extremists.

An act of God would do it--but I think He's leaving it up to us to figure out! We're just not mature enough to handle it yet.

It's a complicated issue--the anger that runs very deep keeps surfacing, clouding the issues that need to be untangled to be resolved. Until the hatred and blaming stop, I don't see how peace can exist in the Middle East.

The Jews believe that the entire land of Canaan was given to them by God himself because Issac, son of Abraham is their forefather.

The Muslims don't believe the Bible, they believe the Koran, and they believe this same land belongs to them because Abraham's other son, Ishmael, is their forefather.

As a Christian, I believe the Bible of course, so I believe the only way there can be peace is if the Muslim's give up on trying to own that part of the world and leave the Jews in peace.

But I don't think it will ever happen by human intervention. There is too much prophecy that foretells that Jesus Christ himself will come back and settle things once and for all.

It will come....
There will first be a chaotic circumstance of worldwide proportion.
He will step forward and bring the whole world into stability and then bring peace to the Middle East, but this will only be for a short season, until he sets himself up in the Temple in Jerusalem...

This is a re run of yesterdays same question.

The Jews would have to back in to the sea and all drown.

The islamists would then take a couple of years to kill off each other to gain supremacy of Sunni Verses??

War Lords would split up the land and return almost all to desert.

PEACE can only be achieved when all submit to the moon god.
TAKFIR!

It seems like it won't end... At least, for 15-20 years! But then, Jerusalem is important for Muslims and Jews and even Christians it won't change, and some Jews will still think that "they have the right on that land" and......... the same thing will continue, I think!

Unfortunately, if news archives and past history are to be believed, warring factions are unlikely ever to lay down their arms for anything. Grievances are being nursed every waking moment with no end in sight.
