They say that God never had a beginning nor an end. But we all must start out somewhere. We all must begin at some point and all must end at some point. So how could there never be a beginning or are we meant not to understand or question .

we are probably not meant to understand it, but one thing is that a lot of the top scientists believe for the creation of the universe to come about, a supreme creator had to have been working over the laws of physics for this to be possible. so anybody that uses the big bang theory as evidence against God better do a little bit more research into it. And since God is working above the laws of physics, it is possible for him never to have had a beginning.

God never had a beginning and will never have an end. Everything else in existance has a beginning and an end and another beginning and another end and so on.

Sorry your confused. We call God the Alpha and Omega which means beginning and end. God is the beginning and the end. There is nothing about never a beginning or end whoever told you that is confused also.

Your answer is in your question. The key is your use of the word "if" in your second sentence of your main question. Who said "everything begin"? And how do you define "everything". If you include God in your definition of "everything", then you've answered your own question since God never had a beginning and will never have an end. And if you don't include God in your definition of "everything", then what's the use of your question, since without God there is nothing, including you and me. God Bless you.

Its a question of concepts. The Bible says that God simply WILLED or CAUSED HIMSELF to exist. While this is not in our finite concepts, it is in Gods.

Also, you have to realize that Time has not always existed. In order to have Time (or entropy) you have to have at least 2 items with which to compare. If God were the only creature that existed in the pre-universe, there was nothing to compare to, so entropy could not exist. It was only with the creation of the Universe that entropy and Time could come into existance with things moving away from each other and gases colliding and "days" passing ... So if you existed before Time and you created the Universe that CONTAINED time, then the actual concept of Time would not only be under your absolute control, but you yourself would not be bound by any of its laws and could see EVERYTHING at once, unlike humans who can only remember the past and not the future.

This is a repeated question. Here is my answer briefly from the Christian point of view.

God reveals and man observes. The Christian bible is where God reveals his words spoken by the prophets to man. It proves nothing, since the existence of God is assumed.

"God created the heavens and the earth" (the first use of the word created. [Think of this as the big bang theory]

God gave Moses his name "I am that I am".

The gospels record four witnesses regarding Jesus life and death, how God raised Jesus from the dead (hope of eternal life), and that Jesus will return.

We know know God is spirit (wind) and that we will worship in him in spirit and truth.

There is more, but I think you get the point: We know not from what we observed but from what God revealed.

Let me give you one example that scientific method (observation) can not resolve: Does God exist or not. Why? Because God is not an observation.

There is a huge difference between us and Allah the Almighty.
We are creatures and he is creator. How can we compare our capabilities with the capabilities of Allah the Almighty.
If we do that we will be blaspheming.
There are certain points where we human must stop thinking, we will get crazy. Some questions have no answer at all.

What if the beginning was the end and the end the beginning? It's a Catch-22.
