My mother is a Christian her father was a deacon
My father was a Christian but became an Atheists later in life
I am a Muslim. My father always told me that I had to find my own path. I never felt that Christianity was right for me. 10 years ago I began to study other religions and found that Islam gave me the answers and peace I was looking for. My father has been my biggest supporter.

I am Baha'i. I do not follow the religion of my Catholic parents, however I am grateful that I was given a solid spiritual upbringing and that they allowed me to search freely without being judged.

No, My parents followed a false judgmental God.]
I am a follower of Jesus, but I am not a Christian.
Christianity has been hijacked buy the judgmental God, hellfire and damnation cult. They worship a contradictory fantasy God.
I study the course in miracles. It teaches about the true unconditionally loving God.

I'm an ELCA luthern. It is the same as my parents. And some of my friends and I have discussed researching the different ones and then picking what WE believe, but a lot of our parents are deeply involved in the church (i.e. pastors, lay evangelists, youth leaders, etc.) so we are afraid of being disowned.
