You got your wish: I am ordained, a minister, the least servant of God. I answer several of these answers nightly. Why do I do it? Let me paraphrase Jesus: "The healthy have no need for a physician."

I wish I could tell you that we Christians (clergy in particular) have all the answer; unfortunately we do not. At best we (again the clergy) have faith/believing [it takes two words to translate this Greek word]. It is that faith/believing that I use to answer and it is that faith/believing you use when you read my response.

You decide which answer fits with your belief system.

Well, based on many of the comments and questions at this site, I can say that it most assuredly is not a Christian site. That being said, Christians do participate, and it does make for lively debate at times.

For those who are seeking counsel, it is better to go to a trusted minister, but then, some people prefer the anonymity of the Internet. Christ has called Christians to "Practice carrying each others burdens. In this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2)

I am quite sure that as many who want to come, and are willing to share their problems, many are willing to help with them.

Priests dont know half of what regular people go through, they dont live normal lives. God often speaks through people...

If it upsets you that it seems that there are more Christians here than others, be a spokesperson for your own beliefs. This is Religion and Spirituality so there will inevitably be Christians here and we all know we dont need to ask Priests for advice, thats why we have "fellowship"

Because Christians have a right to be here as much as people of other religions (and people of no religion) and since there are a lot of Christians in the English-speaking world, that accounts for the fact that there are a lot of Christians here.

It seems there are a lot more idiots on this site than Christians. It's a free-for-all site! And priests are real people, too.

The same thing could be said for anybody here.

All the people who ask questions about guys....why don't they just go ask a male friend.
All the people who ask questions about hair....why don't they just go ask their hairstylist.
All the people who ask questions about their cars....why don't they just go and ask their mechanic.

All the people who ask questions about anything and everything...
Why don't they just go ask someone who knows more about it. Guess what they are doing on Yahoo answers?

Check out the categories... Religion & Spirituality? People have questions, and they are not all about Christianity. If you have a problem with religion, you should possibly choose a different Catagory.

There are Christians on here who are able to answer questions, and I am very interested to hear their ideas and thoughts on things.
I also ask people in Bible study, people in my church, I pray to God about it and talk to my Christian friends. You can't rely on Yahoo answers for everything, but its good for getting opinions.

actually, a lot of other religions are represented here, though they aren't as prevalent.
but I have noticed one thing. not causing a fight or being rude, but I have noticed that most of the questions posted by athiests/agnostics are directed toward Christianity. they rarely put other faiths under the microscope.
as for the advice part, well some of us don't have home churches, and our families aren't much help. so sometimes it's nice to get some fresh ideas.

This doesn't seem like a Christian site to me, but there's nothing wrong asking a Christian for advice. You don't have to take it.

Blind leading the blind?

I don't think there are any serious christians on this site. They all seem confused about what they belive in.

Sorry if you are a serious christian, but you need to act the part. Not just claim the title.
