A friend of mine who is a 'satanist' says that they are. That Satan wanted God to give people knowledge of the spiritual realm and God refused.
Hence Satan getting the boot outta heaven.

If we are "saved," then our actions have no reward or punishment, hence free will becomes meaningless. Do you agree? If not, why?

I am a Mormon, about three years ago I met these two sisters at church at the same time and when I met them I had this overwhelming feeling that instant that I was going to marry one of them. Then later I had a dream which a voice told me that one of them would not love me as much if my physical appearance were to change. Then when I saw the one "I think I should" marry, a year later, again at church, we both came around the corner in the hallway and right when we made eye contact the lights flickered, exactly at that moment. I have also had dreams of talking to her dad asking for permission to marry her and even the walk down the aisle and they have felt so real. We have never really gone out just hung out as friends but there is no denying there is a connection, I think we both have held off on dating because we wanted to better ourselves before we go out. She is on a mission and due back in 7 months but I plan on leaving for a 2 yr mission in 4 months, should I write her, what 2 say

Don't they know that protesting only creates controversy and controversy makes more people want to see the movie? The protests backfired, all they did was have more people see the movie and put millions more into Dan Brown's pocket. Will they ever learn?

Numbers 23:19 - "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?"

Compared to Exodus 32:14 - "Then the Lord relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened."

So, does he change his mind or not?

There will be a TV show on tonight at 10:30pm eastern/ 7:30pm pacific time about atheists who converted to Christianity. The show is called "The Journey Home" on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) channel, and this will be a special episode featuring a roundtable of former atheists talking about their conversion stories. There will even be a former atheist who used to live his life as a homosexual who converted to Christianity and has since then rejected his former lifestyle.

Best selling novelist, Ann Rice, is another former atheist who recently converted to Christianity and has returned to the Catholic Church. She said, "I went back to the Catholic Church after 30 years of being an atheist. And I realized that I wanted to write just about Jesus Christ for the rest of my career, in one way or another."

our striving would be losing.--

I love that, it's from Martin Luther's "A Mighty Fortress is our God". It just puts the cap on people who think that what they do can or say matters against the Judge of heaven and earth. We are all condemned, but Christ freed us from that in His sacrifice.

What if your belief is wrong? What will you say to G-d almighty on judgement day? How will you feell about eternity where you have choosen? I'm not trying to be rude either. Think about it before you answer. Do you simply choose not to believe? Have you actually researched to find out information to support your beliefs? You are a polytheist? Have you read the "Old Testament"? Surely you know his views on polytheism. Is your eternity, if you are wrong, really not worth it?
